The manager in the shoe department was just fabulous to me today. I came in to buy some orthotic sneakers. There were some on sale, but none in my size, so he gave me the regularly priced ones in my size for the sale price! I'd always had a view of Sport Chek staff as being somewhat snobbish and disdainful towards their clientele, and I was happy to find that wasn't the case with this guy.

Very large store. Good selection. Generally go here for Nevada Bob's golf.

Large, clean store but I found there wasn't a huge selection of women's shoes. I picked out three shoes I was interested in from the main rack, and they only had anything close to my size in one of them. If you're almost out of a product or have limited sizes left, put it on the sale rack or at least notify interested parties to this.

Andy who runs the bike shop here is phenomenal. Very knowledgeable, does good work and gets it done fast. There is nowhere else in London I would rather take my bike.

This is at least the 6th time we have had to buy athletic shoes at Sportchek for our daughter, my husband & I, and our experience today has again been anything but positive. We have been to 3 different stores in London over the recent past and we have had the same experience at all three stores (two in the north, and one in the southwest). The staff don't know the products so if you don't know what you want, you are on your own. Not to mention trying to find someone to help you - and when I do find a salesperson, their attitude is condescending. I'm made to feel that I am bothering them. The salesperson today literally shoved the box at us and left. Honestly, if there were another sports store to choose from, I would never shop at Sportchek again. Obviously customer service doesn't seem to be a priority for Sportchek in their sales people.

The employees make this place absolutely amazing. They're incredibly helpful, cheerful, and really know their departments (they "do" seem to specialize in certain departments so be aware that not all of them will know everything about everything in the store)!
