It is bad experience with this departement. Bad customer service on cash desk, they are really confusing customers with sales and prices. Never come back here ever:)
Poor service as a rule, but today really got me mad when they had a sign for a pair of shoes for $74.99 with the wrong shoes in front of the sign. There were no other visible shoes nearby. When I went to purchase the shoes, the price mysteriously climbed to over $150. In speaking to the manager, he was rude. Yet another example of bad service at Sport Chek Lougheed Mall. When will they finally get it together? I'm not going to bother to find out. BTW, the same shoes were over $30 less at Foot Locker.
Very efficient and personable staff who knew their stuff and attentive to customers.
This is "The Place" to get your skates sharpened. Now that Gary Mackenzie, is no longer with us, I came across David, and he is as every bit as good. I have only ever trusted two guys to sharpen my skates, now it's up to three.
I love that they always have bikes on display outside of the store, it makes me happy when I walk by.
Very good sports store, selection of clothes and shoes is pretty good
A lot of staff there no one seemed interested in helping me get some new trainers, finally one staff member asks me if I need some help and they don't have any cross trainers in my size 11.5 - 12. My thoughts on leaving are why do they even open the doors. 🤔
Mark this helpful if you come here to get your skates sharpened with team assist. Large selection and good customer service.
They have lots of sports equipment, but its usually overpriced unless on sale. They do have a handy place to sharpen your skates though.
I would like to express my gratitude to a number of SportCheck employees at your Lougheed Town Center store in Burnaby, BC.
Last week I stopped by to purchase a bike as a present to my wife. Although she was not with me at that time, Corey, the sales associate gave lots of suitable advises to select a proper bike for her. He spent about half an hour and explained the key elements about bikes and biking. I liked and bough a bike (model 2015) but I was not sure about the size. When I brought it home I found it large for her. The day after I returned to get a smaller one, but there was not a smaller size in any store in lower mainland. Surprisingly, the store manager offered a 2016 model of the same brand to us for the same price to make us satisfied. The new bike was a perfect fit.
Although Corey was working up to 5:00 PM that day, he stayed one extra hour up to 6:00 PM to assemble and tune the bike for her.
The customer service of the Lougheed Town Center in Burnaby was beyond our expectations. All the staff including cashiers were working professionally with special attention to customer needs and satisfaction. So, we would like to thank them all sincerely.
