I shopped around at many jewelry places before stepping foot into Spence. Immediately I felt the atmosphere and mood to be much more welcoming. Shane was who we dealt with and I highly recommend you to shop with him he knows his stuff and I never once felt pressured. You can try on as many rings as you like on the floor as well as get to view the real diamond under a microscope, something that I wasn’t able to do at the other places. With the quality of service, ring, and diamond selections, you won’t think twice about your budget, because you will get the highest quality of product and service. Go see for yourself if you are skeptical of my review. :)

The customer service at Spence was absolutely phenomenal. Suzanne was incredibly patient, asked all the right questions, and made the entire experience very comfortable and exciting. I was thrilled to have her expertise at my disposal; she found at least twenty rings that matched my (admittedly vague) description of what I was looking for in look, style, and price, and helped narrow down the selection to one. She walked me through the technical attributes of the ring and the diamond itself, and I left satisfied that I knew exactly what I was buying.
The service and expertise, the quality, the warranty, and the free cleanings made the purchase worth every penny. We went back for my wedding band as well, and I would recommend Spence to anyone else looking to taking this step.response / report this review -

The experience at Spence has been great, start to finish. Our sales person Suzanne was amazing! She provided us with a relaxed "no pressure" shopping atmosphere, was educated and professional but also kept things fun and enjoyable. The rest of the sales staff and management were attentive and helpful each and every time we had question, viewing or product to pick up in Suzanne's absence. If we could rate the overall experience outta 6, we would have.

Suzanne helped us out at Spence and she was outstanding! My boyfriend and I have been avoiding looking at rings for a while now because we were both so intimidated by jewelry stores. Suzanne made us feel SO comfortable and was so accommodating and helpful with a genuine smile and approachable character the whole time. She was so pleasant and showed no judgement. We had very little idea how much detail goes into engagement ring shopping and she made it so easy and fun for us. We would 100% recommend her to anyone!

My and my SO recently went into Spence Diamonds and were quickly greeted by a staff member explaining everything to us about their layout and how to navigate their store.
We have recently just started looking at engagement rings, and I can't say how easy Spence made the process of finding the right ring and choosing between multiple options. Suzanne Gonzalez helped us with all our questions and was fantastic to work with. My girlfriend and I went to Spence today in search of an engagement ring and were happily greeted by Suzanne. She was incredibly helpful and made us feel quite comfortable during a nervous shopping experience. I would highly recommend checking out Spence and asking for Suzanne should you have any diamond needs.

A 0 star rating is more Appropriate. I am out the stone in my engagement ring 35 days after they serviced my claws and they won't do a damn thing. Buy your ring elsewhere if you want a long term investment. 2 years of marriage and I don't have a ring anymore

Amazing service ! It was the first jewelry, first step for me as i was looking for an engagement ring. I knew absolutely nothing about diamonds and engagement rings. Suzanne came to me when I entered the jewelry and took time to show me different style of rings and gave me an introduction on diamonds. She did an amazing job! I would strongly recommend anyone to pay a visit at Spence Diamonds Calgary!

Suzanne was amazing! My boyfriend surprised me taking me to Spence Diamonds after he got many recommendations for them from work. It was our first time seriously shopping around for a ring and Suzanne helped us find exactly what we wanted. She was patient, not pushy, and always gave us space to talk and look around ourselves. She had awesome suggestions and always brought out different and similar styles to gauge what I really wanted in a ring. We walked in having a slight idea of what I wanted and walked out knowing exactly what ring, what diamond, what setting, and even which wedding band we would want.
Suzanne is very knowledgeable and I am very glad she was there to help me decide. I thought I wanted one ring, but as soon as she brought me out a different one it just spoke to me. Suzanne is all around great, happy, friendly, and really just there for you. She is very supportive and very honest. She isn't pushing for you to buy a ring right away and really listens to what our future plans are and respects our timeline. She is also very easy to talk to, My boyfriend and I both felt very comfortable speaking with her and asking any questions we had. She will go out of her way to get you whatever you ask for or at least find an image of it to show you.
The other workers at Spence were also very friendly.
I definitely recommend talking to Suzanne for any interest in getting a ring, she knows her stuff and she gives you no pressure. I look forward to speaking with her again and can't wait for my boyfriend to "surprise" me again with something we both love and chose.response / report this review -

What an absolute nightmare. I was sizing a wedding band and one size was too big and one too small. I asked for a recommendation and the salesman said "you have to decide on your own". When we got back the smaller size it wouldn't fit and then someone else told me I could've got a 3/4 size from the start. When we got it back the 2nd time it was broken right out of the box. They said they would put it on rush order and to come back in a few days. When we went back in they said they had lost it and to wait a few more days to find out when it would be in. They never called. After us calling back several times we told them they don't deserve our business and to get our money back. After several more phone calls we were finally refunded (after 2 full months) with no attempt to rectify the situation. Terrible service and terrible quality. I will never be setting foot in Spence again and encourage others to stay away as well.

My fiancé and I purchased my engagement ring from Spence a couple years ago, and really enjoyed the experience. Recently, we came back to look at wedding bands. We live out of the city, so we appreciate the ability to pop in without an appointment. Suzanne was patient and extremely helpful when it came to narrowing down the look I wanted for my wedding band. She also helped immensely when I was considering whether my engagement ring should be yellow gold, or if it should stay white. She took the time to find me a photo of my ring in yellow, and that solved my concerns immediately. I choose to stay with white gold and we matched my band to my ring. The only reason this isn't a five star review is due to the store manager - the second time we were there to look at rings I overheard him tell Suzanne that we were "not to leave without a ring". That sales pressure is NOT something she passed on to us, and we appreciated her tact enough to come back and buy my band the next time we were in town.

Phenomenal Staff (Tristan was who we dealt with), my boyfriend and I went in to look at a ring I was looking at online, as soon as we walked in, we were asked what we were looking for and then we were directed to the area it was in. Not to mention we also learned quite a bit about their services and guarantees. I could not have asked for a more amazing experience, we got to see the diamond we wanted to put in the ring under a microscope. Now how many businesses do that?? We got to pick the quality, colour and size of the diamond. Amazing experience, 12/10. We were not pressured into anything and made the right decision. I highly recommend Spence to anyone who is looking for good quality and service.

My fiance and I went in to Spence last week to pick out our wedding bands. Shane was the employee that helped us and he was beyond wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, he had some great input and he never made us feel pressured at any point. We both ended up picking the perfect rings for ourselves and it couldn't have been a better experience. I highly recommend Spence to everyone and anyone looking for amazing quality jewelry and the most qualified staff in the business!

Absolutely awesome staff! I went there to just poke around and see what certain rings would cost me. Staff was not pushy and I was referred to Suzanne. She was incredible in helping me find options within my price range. She also knew exactly what I was looking for and made sure to contact me when new stones came in that she knew I would like and give me cost breakdowns as well which was incredibly helpful in making decisions based on stone size, clarity, etc. I could not recommend an better person and store to shop for such an important purchase!!
