My driver examiner was Michelle and I she was perfect! She did not stress me out at all. She made wrote comments on the paper without distracting and she was really friendly during the test. I definitely recommend her for road test. The staff of the registry are nice and helpful! Overall, an excellent registry!

I had Darrell as my examiner today for my road test and it was a very great experience. I was so anxious when I came in but he will make sure that you'll feel at ease and that you'll be confident in taking the test. I can tell that he's doing very wonderful in his job as he was talking about his passion for it and was so understanding about everything. And kudos for him as he know some Filipino words too! Staffs in the registry were great as well. I've been there countless of times already and never had a single problem with them. Thank you!

The driving examiner I had was Kevin, I would definitely recommend him in the future. He was very polite and calm throughout the whole exam, and did not noticeably mark down errors in front of me, but instead waited until the end of the exam to explain any mistakes or deductions. Despite being nervous he made it easy to focus on the exam and gave lots of notice and instruction beforehand. Aside from that the staff here were very efficient and courteous I did not have any bad experiences the whole time. Thank you Kevin and Southland Registrations Ltd for making the process a little bit easier!

August 12th I went for my drivers licences. I did my road test with Darrell , Ive never met an easier person to talk too. I was a little nervous and he got me out of it so fast. We talked the whole time. He was funny, very intelligent and extremely kind. We joked around . Overall it was a great experience and I couldn't be more appreciative of him for making me so comfortable. Thank you so much again.

I had Michelle as my driving examiner this afternoon. She is the best examiner I have ever had. She is very professional, super friendly and very patient with me. I've never sat with someone who is so calmly like this with me. After the test was done, all I had to say is having her as my examiner is totally erasing my nerves. I would recommend Michelle for the road test if you plan to do so. She is awesome!

Took my advanced drivers test here on July 13 2017 and it was such a good experience! I was really nervous for this test and kept putting it off for a few years. I had Darryl as my examiner and he was so good at keeping the atmosphere in the vehicle relaxed and calm so I was able to focus on my driving and not on my nerves. I got really good feedback at the end and some great tips on where I can improve.

At first I was very nervous walking in but because they were quick and efficient with getting my paper work and everything done before my test made me feel a lot more comfortable knowing that I'll be taken good care of here. In addition I highly highly suggest booking the test with Darell because his sense of humor and joyful attitude will ease those test anxieties for sure. Im so happy to say that i passed my first try!!

I've been going to Southland for years, and I'm always impressed with how friendly, helpful and knowledgeable the staff are. I always recommend everyone I know to take their business there. Thanks for all the years of great service!

I moved here from BC for work and had to change my insurance and license for insurance purposes. The two women that I dealt with were completely rude the entire time I was there. Along with many other things, one of the women said that I have to apply for Alberta Health within 40 days and that I cannot keep my BC Health. I told her this is untrue, she proceeded to talk to me like I didn't know what I was talking about or that I was a young dumb person who had no idea how things work. Needless to say, I called BC Health a couple days later and they told me that I CAN in fact keep my BC Health for 24 consecutive months after moving out of province. Not only was I treated very poorly, the staff does not know their facts. I have never found a need to write a negative review before, but after this experience, I will not be returning or recommending this registration office to anyone.

Anyone who leaves a bad review about Michelle is just a poor driver. I had my Class 5 Advanced test today and passed. She gave me clear feedback and marked fairly. She's also a really nice lady.
The front desk handled everything quickly and efficiently. They also let me re-take my photo a few times with minimal judgement :)response / report this review -

I had taken my drivers test here recently and failed. I had failed due to not stopping fully at a red light before turning right which is reason for automatic failing of the test. The instructor I had (Ron) was extremely helpful and encouraging. He had let me know what to work on, what went wrong and how I could pass my test the next time. Although failing sucks, I am thankful to have had such a great, kind instructor to help me through this process. Would definitely recommend taking your test here.
