Check out Yelp reiews- much more accurate and not complimentary. Unless they have new owners and new chef (I use the term lightly) the food really sucks. I've read some of the other reviews and either people are satisfied with lousy food, or I went to another restaurant completely.
Service was okay. Nice location, nice decor. Food arrived fairly quickly but was really, really awful. My mom ordered a chicken potpie which was completely dry with one "seasonal" veg on the side, and that was a carrot. No gravy, didn't even look like a potpie. I ordered a burger which was a frozen, flat patty, overcooked on the outside, pink on the inside. The caesar salad had rusty romaine lettuce, very little dressing and too many croutons. My sister ordered fish tacos which were slathered with over-dressed coleslaw. Her salad was half croutons and half onions. I ate about 1/4 of my burger, my sister finished part of one taco. It was truly awful. We waited for our bill, a large noisy group came in so we went up to pay without our bills. Told the waitress service was fine, but the food was awful. We definitely will not be back.

Food is much better this year as well as the service. They have been redeemed in our books. Made some great menu changes. Atmosphere is always great. This year we visited 5 times and every time was great. Fish tacos my fav.

A great place. The owner really cares. The food is great and it is a great location to sit out on the patio and watch the boats go by. We usually boat over from port franks and park our boat on the boat parking dock they have and have dinner and drinks before we head back out to the lake for sunset.

Service was very slow. We made reservations online and were told that they don't take them anymore. They need to re-print their menu because he says they take opentable reservations. Really unprofessional. The time it took from walking in to getting our food was 1 hour. If you like to waste an hour waiting for food, come here. Food was good but not worth the terrible service.

Check your bill !! recently took friends here and all was good till we ordered drinks, server came back twice indicating what we requested was not available, 3rd time lucky and we got our drinks, enjoyed our meal, paid our bill and drove 45 minutes home. Our friends called to say they had been billed for the beer they didn't have and sure enough we were as well so called back an requested a manager return my call, still waiting. NOT IMPRESSED

I went with my boyfriend and his mother who had been before. We arrived at 6:45/7:00

    1) we were told that a huge group was coming in for 8 but not in a way to make us hurry but it was out there as information.

    2) when our server asked if my boyfriend wanted his fish dish battered or not he said battered. When the dish came it turns out that the dish does not have that option in the first place.

    3) I had the lobster mac and cheese. Out of respect for my boyfriend's mother who was paying I didn't mention how disappointed I was with the dish. One small chunk of lobster and minimal lobster flavour in the sauce.

    4) Our server, beside the blip with the dish was amazing and attentive. However, upon other observations you could tell the place was disorganized with slow clean up service and a couple who walked out because they hasn't been served in quite a long time.
