Food was quite well prepared and reasonably priced. Had lamb shank for lunch and was quite tender while rice was done well. We ordered the cucumber yogurt and was impressed with the flavour. Service was polite but was a little short on frequency.

By far the best Persian restaurant in town. Everything is portioned really well and you could most certainly taste this amazing difference in the meat and all authentic stews. I personally never judge an establishment on certain bad reviews but rather love to try it for myself. Keep up the great work!!!

Congratulations Shiraz on successfully losing a regular customer over $4! For the second time in a row ordering Shiraz on Skipbthedishes off the Shiraz menu we have placed an order and got a call asking for more money. This time because while their menu includes small pizzas, for inexplicable reasons they can only make medium pizzas and therefore we need to pay the difference for the bigger pizza. Absolutely ridiculous. It's a shame because over the last couple years this place has been a favourite for us, I guess we weren't for them. Sad goodbye Shiraz.

The food is always good. Quantity and quality. Usually one plate with soup can feed two people. Everytime my family or myself are passing through Calgary we have ti stop here, it has become a tradition now. The prices are very reasonable as well. The owner is every welcoming and nice

Ordered fesenjoon that has chicken with walnut and pomegranate. The dish was so sweet it was almost like a dessert. There were no other spices and no flavours. The size was smaller than appetizer size like 1/4 cup. And that was$20. We needed like two dishes like that just to be full. Worst experience ever. These people have no idea about what good food is.

Its nice and tidy place to eat Persian halal food in Calgary with great taste and at reasonable cost. We tried their Sultani, Vaziri & Kobedah platters with carbonated yogurt pitcher and everyone including our young kids love the food.

Today we experienced a long waiting time to have ready our food. The servie quality is very poor and we will never choose this restaurant again. It is really unprofessional that the
servant forgot to bring part of our order.

I wanted to try something new so we decided to come to this place. Food was tasteless and dry, pitas were from a bakery and likely a few days old as they were hard and cracking. Service non existing, we had to hunt down a waiter a few times. And since we were a part of a group 6, they automatically added 15% tip altho we were not happy with their service and we did advise of this when we had a chance. I wouldn't come here again nor would I recommend this place.

The daughter of the owner was taking care of the service and was extremely polite. The food was amazing, very authentic, and came in great portions. The place looked neat. Make sure to try their home-made, rose-flavored saffron ice-cream, we ended up buying a bucket to take home with us! Prices might be slightly higher than competitors, but good value, considering the quality.

We went here for dinner with a friend. They weren't busy at 6 and we were able to get a table right away. We ordered the salt and pepper wings with pomegranate sauce on the side, eggplant, hawaiian chicken pizza and the chef special with shirazi salad. The chef special comes with three skewers (beef tenderloin, chicken breast, and ground beef), two plates of rice, salad and grilled tomatoes. The wings were tasty and crispy. The eggplant was flavourful but I didn't enjoy the whey so I would probably order it without next time. The pizza was pretty decent but I found it a little on the sweet side. The highlight of the meal was the meat kebabs and the salad. There wasn't anything that was memorable for my taste.
