Our room was nice. A decent view. The bed was quite hard. The sheets were starchy. The pool was busy all the time. It also needs a renovation, but the waterslides are fun. The morning breakfast was surprisingly good, although expensive, the buffet gets a thumbs up from me!

The staff and hotel were fantastic. Very accommodating. The gym was actually pretty nice there too. The rooms were clean and professional. Thanks for a great stay!

We really liked this hotel. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Very quiet. Had a really good sleep. Staff was extremely helpful. We would absolutely stay here again. The airport shuttle was very efficient. Just wish it had a free breakfast.

I really liked this hotel - it's a little upscale from your usual airport hotel. The rooms are nice and well appointed. There are two restaurants - I tried the pub twice and it was great food - plus a Starbucks. Staff is friendly and accommodating. It's conveniently located for the airport, but a long ride to downtown.

Value for the price is not right. As an upscale hotel I expect high standards. Rooms are pretty noisy because of large A/C compressors outside. No bright main light on the rooms, only ambience. No complementary breakfast These small things that make it not worth the higher price compared to mid range chains. Rooms were nice and clean, of course.

I was there to film the wedding, both inside the room (preparation part) and the reception. Rooms looks large and clean, but bathrooms are a bit too small. Overall hotel looks clean and well maintained. Reception took place in one of the larger event rooms based on first floor. Room can accommodate up to 300 guests. Food was delicious and service was fast and professional. Location is prime as well, with a lots of shopping and dining in the area, as well as close vicinity to YYC and main roads.

I was there in another capacity other than being a guest; but had to deal with the staff. I found the staff to be courteous, and very professional. The hotel itself is very classy and laid out well.

Great hotel service and awesome waterslides for the kids. Our initial room assignment had us right outside the pool entrance which didn't work for us due to having a baby with us. Approached the front desk with my concerns and they had me assigned to a new room in minutes. The Colors restaurant on the main floor provides a good breakfast buffet to get you and the kids started in the morning.

We came to the hotel for a family vacation with 2 young children. The hotel was in a great location, very easy to get to and easy to get anywhere. The swimming pool has 2 slides and 2 hot tubs, great for The kids and relaxing as the adults. The staff have been very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and tidy. Overall has been a great experience! Would definitely recommend to stay here and plan to come here again in the future.

Attended an off site work meeting here for 1 day. The room was great, very spacious and we'll set up. The food provided in the morning, for lunch and for the afternoon was very good. In the afternoon an ice cream bar with hot fudge and strawberries as well as other toppings was excellent and a nice, unique offering. The room was a bit cool, but the heat was adjusted promptly when we asked. Would definitely have meetings here again.

I was at the Cavalier for a professional event. They had breakfast and the food was good for a buffet. The meeting room was a little crowded and it was hard to see from the back but overall the facility was nice. I'd certainly feel comfortable going to an event there again.

    -Check In
Check in was okay, there was a delay in the housekeeping, so we had to be moved to a different room, staff were friendly but not coordinated.

    -Room
Considering the price paid for the room, I was not very impressed. Bathroom was very small and crammed. Bed was not comfy, and pillows were all very flimsy, despite asking staff. Window had bird droppings all over. As well, A/C was very noise, and made it hard to sleep.

    -Service
All the staff were friendly and patient, although they did not seem to be coordinated during breakfast and check in. They did make my stay somewhat enjoyable.

    -Amenities
The waterpark was fun, but internet was very low quality, could not even load a web page.

Overall, my stay was fine, but I would recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express just north of this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful front desk! Even if we were confusing and obviously unorganized due to miscommunication at our end, the front desk didn't show any annoyance at all and he even made it easier for us to get the check in done. Room was clean, although we got a half empty water bottle in our room. Staff changed it for us and gave us extra once we called it in. The hotel staff even gave us a birthday cake in our room. So sweet! (it was our aunt's birthday) We also went swimming and it was a blast! They have two slides, sauna, two hot tubs and a pool. Really had a great time during our stay with the family!
