Our dog swallowed some pills that he wasn't supposed to, after hours of course, and they were able to see him right away and probably saved his life! And they didn't take advantage by charging a ton eithervery fair and very compassionate. I'll be switching both of my dogs because of this great experience.

My Dog was coughing non stop so I took my dog there and the rececptionist said it was likely reverse sneezing that was causing my dog to cough. .They vet could not see the dog but not to worry because revervse sneezing was normal. I went to a differnet Vet office where the receptionist didn't give and opinion or shoo us away but asked the Vet and the Vet diagnosed my dog with a heart murmer at stage 3. I will never go to this Vet office again!

Dr. Kluge and her staff have been amazing with all of our cats. We have only been going a year, but it has been a tough one. They all signed a card when one of ours died. They took amazing care of another one of our cats when she was incredibly ill. Dr. Klug saved her life. Our cats are all healthy weights now, thanks to her help. The kindness of all the staff is great! I always recommend Dr. Klug to anyone looking for a vet.

This place is absolutely horrible. They only care about getting the most money out of you and dont care about your pet. Our family cat had been having several issues after moving into a different house and each time they tried to treat it he only got worse and they continued to guess on what was going on acting like they knew what it was instead of admitting they didn't. My cat was 11 years old and when I finally convinced my mom to put him down because none of what they were doing wasn't working, the vet then said it was just because he had a few rotten teeth and that if they removed it he would be good as new. So she paid the 500$+ and got his teeth removed and a few weeks later he became paralyzed from the waste down. He suffered so much in his last year because they vet couldn't resist getting that extra dollar instead of telling my mom what I've been telling her the whole time. He was too old and should not have went through surgery especially if they didn't know for sure if that was the cause. And if it was the cause, why make us go back there so many different times and tell us something different every time? 100% Would NOT recommend. They do not care about your pets.

I have several very old cats and one young puppy. In a short time, all have received treatment from SVS. I am currently navigating difficult waters with one of the cats, who has a number of very serious emerging health issues. Dr. Klug is beyond exceptional, with an authentic compassion and sense of connection with the animals that I truly haven't seen as abundantly in other vets. Her professionalism and expertise is beyond comprehension. She is an asset to the community as well as all the SVS staff. Highly recommend.

Great staff! Was greeted by receptionist Courtney, who was simply delightful, knowledgeable, and helpful. I genuinely got the feeling that Dr.Klug cared about my pet which allowed me to feel comfortable leaving her there for a few days. Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Klug. We have bunnies and its extremely difficult to find a knowledgable vet who knows much about them. Not only do they have the equipment for small critters but she has extensive knowledge and experience in treating them and has always cared for them as if they were her own. We've had to travel down some difficult roads with her with some unique health issues and she has been nothing short of amazing. Will continue bringing our sweet furry loves to her. This is a really good place to take your pets! Very professional and friendly staff. We're very happy here. It should be a much higher rating, but I think sometimes only those unhappy will take time to review. People happy with their service sometimes don't bother to review.because everything is great. Highly recommend Selkirk Veterinary for people who want reasonable pricing and people who care about taking care of your pets!

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The Veterinarian we had was friendly and really seemed to care about our young cat. They follow up with you, and will take time to answer any questions you have. Really nice place.

I blame them for the death of my ferret. This vet (Klug) had NO CLUE what she was doing with my ferret. He had 2 very, VERY common diseases for ferrets but she could not figure it out. Instead of referring me she tried to guess and gave him messed up treatment. I trusted her with his LIFE . She could not even say "I don't know. Let me pull out a text book OR refer you" instead she let my pet die a slow, painful death. He died SCREAMING in pain in my arms one morning after fighting a disease he could have had less severely had he had proper treatment. I trusted a trained professional to do all she could, and that includes admitting she doesn't know and sending me to someone she does. Do NOT trust this woman with your pet and certainly not your exotics.

Dr. Klug and her staff performed an emergency trac on my golden retriever who was no longer breathing after swallowing tennis balls. I switched vets after the phenomenal care, compassion and follow up I received. I have never looked back. After 2 years, our experiences have remained positive, informative and helpful.
