I have attended two production at this theatre over the last 6 weeks. Both were amazing and staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone should try at see the present production , The Spelling Bee.

I love this place!! Wonderful atmosphere. Great shows, comfy seating. Awesome food! They have a great summer program for the kids and are so warm and inviting towards people.

Though listed on google as a movie theatre (and it does show movies during the Film Fest), it is first and foremost a playhouse. When there are plays on, you can often get dinner and a play on a weekend. Like every play, some are good, some less so, but the Grande Prairie Live Theatre is a nice place to go for the evening and get some local culture!
