We have been taking our children and now our grandchildren to Sandy Flats for 40 years and love the experience. It has always been a spring break activity. This year the new owners were carrying on after just buying the place!. We always take a walk through the trail in a large group ( we were ten this year) and enjoy the bush with the whole family. Mr. Potter always has his two large horses there and you can take a ride on a wagon . He will tell you about the sap collecting and about how much he loves his horses. Best of all is the breakfast (or lunch) of pancakes, sausages, beans, biscuits and maple syrup. I can still taste the syrup!! They do sell syrup and maple sugar candy. !! Myrna
