Really good food and ambiance. Service is good, nice and clean restaurant. The buffet offers a good selection of dishes including an array of desserts! I think their takeout menu is of great value if you prefer smaller portions.

Consistently GREAT Food! I have only ordered delivery from Saffron and not actually been inside the restaurant mostly because delivery is so quick. The food is fresh, quality for pricing is there for sure. Our family favourites include butter chicken, tandoori chicken with mint chutney, chicken curry and must have Samosas. Everything is delivered to your door crispy and fresh. This place never disappoints!

I'm not an Indian food connoisseur by any means, but I really like this place. The food comes quickly, fairly priced and always tastes very good to me. It's flavourful and the meat is fresh. Service can be slow from time to time, but they are friendly and don't mind if you have to wave at them (politely of course).
Decor is simple and unpretentious. Have not ever had to wait very long to get a table. Highly recommend!response / report this review -

Always ordered a delivery which takes minimum an hour to arrive but it’s worth the wait. All Indian flavours just popping up all your taste buds. Curries, appetizers, biryanis, all of them tastes so good- Samosas & Tandoori chicken being on top for me served with delicious chutney & sauces!!! For such mind blowing & always fresh feast, paying a little extra is completely worth.

This is, by far, the best Indian restaurant in the Vancouver area - and I have tried many. The food quality is excellent, with fantastic flavour. These folks know how to season food and that's an art most restaurants never master. The lunch buffet offers a good variety of items that are all served fresh and they rotate the options daily. Their butter chicken is the perfect blend of tomato and cream, and their kheer rice pudding is out of this world. There's a good range of both meat and vegetarian dishes, salad bar, and desserts. Saffron is my favourite local restaurant and there's a reason it is packed every day. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Beware, though, it'll ruin you for being able to eat at any other Indian restaurant after you've tried their food.

Food seems great. Less spicy (flavored!) from the Indian end. Have good variety but price seems to be a bit high which would make it not "a usual place to go". I have tried it twice (once with buffet). You may find that the staffs may not be in their best mood ..

Food was great and served really fast. If you are going on the weekends then the price is slightly on the higher side compared to the quantity provided but makes up for it with quality. However during the weekdays one could enjoy unlimited buffet for mere 15-20 dollars which is really cheap and hence a must try place.

Food was good! Took some out of town guest to the restaurant and they enjoyed all the items. The chicken was tender for all the chicken dishes (tandoori, butter chicken, coconut chicken). The beef rendang was alright. Nan bread was very fresh. My favorite was the rice pudding.

This restaurant has amazing food. The price is pretty good also. The ambiance is nice, staff are friendly. I swear tonight I tasted the best butter chicken ever. Their pakora was so delicious, as was their Tandoori Chicken.

Poor service from some of workers. They don't know how to talk with customers.
It's feel like they don't care about business.

Delicious buffet. All the fried stuff is great: Samosas, pakoras not oily. Garlic Naan has a TON of garlic - Yes! Also love the beverages: Chai when it's snowing out and mango lassi when it's hot. All good.

Food today was not very good. Two vegetarian dishes were barely at room temperature and taste left much to be desired. Cheese and peas dish was the saving grace. It has been very nice in the past but today was not it.

Location is A1, food is fantastic, service is even better. Staff is so friendly & welcoming. Amazing ambiance! I've been several times, at all hours of the day, never disappointed. Strongly recommend going there for any/many occasions.
