Convenient place to shop but prices are sometimes more expensive than competitors. Their fruits looks more fresh than other grocery stores in the area. They have a wide variety of products and good selection if you just want to buy that ingredient you forgot to buy elsewhere.

Love this Safeway. Staff are friendly and very available. Deli counter is always super quick and very friendly. Meat sales are always a good deal and very well-stocked. Produce section is also very good and they're happily light on the "let's randomly spray all our veg constantly and encourage spoilage" thing. Great selection of products.

It's quite and no loud music. Not busy, which l like but its not good for the store. Some of the staff could be more friendly. I have noticed over the years how sad the staff look. I believe it's all the cutbacks. The food it good, clean and plentiful. The lotto man and lady especially friendly. Still love shopping there. There is a young man now who has and still is so helpful. I believe many could learn from him. Have to watch your prices in produce as l found a couple of times miss leading labeling. When bought to the attention nothing was done. When reported it on line to head office, only a thank you and will look into to it. I believe there should have been a service render where l was given the product free. Oh well their loss.

Since changing ownership they close at 11 from 12pm. For a business store that's been here for ages is sad it comes down to bottom line. I guess this means more business for shoppers which is open 24hrs

Selection is always excellent and the staff are great. Prices are a bit higher than the "No frills type of store, but worth it.

Customer service is fine
Bakery/deli is fine - sandwiches are great there
The overall quality has gone down in the last few years - I bought a Compliments (house brand) sour cream and it had mould in it. Second time I bought it, thinking it was a isolated incident and there was mould in the second one as well.

Just last week, I bought Almond Milk December 2015 and it was expired from September. To make matters worse I call the manager there to inform him of this and when he offers to exchange it for me, I get to the Almond Milk section and even after our conversation there was still a box full of them left out for sale that all expired in September and we were at the end of December already! You would think after being informed of this that he would check out the item if there are anymore??!?

Items in flyer not found in this store; 3 different staff can't find including the manager - jotted down the particular product brand "Gardein" and looks at me like he's never even heard of it, yet I've purchased it there before. Other Safeway's in Whalley & Willowbrook have it, so what's the problem here? There is need here for a severe attitude adjustment for some staff(both cashiers & customer service personnel), although others are simply the best. Overall though, service & on-hand stock have been degrading for years at this Fleetwood store.

Okay going to see handsome meat cutters. Oh and the bakery the best of all the other grocery stores. Soft, fresh, warm bread and buns, nice variety. Girls open cash when my back was hurting. Feeling the pressure to use self checkout too much (don't want to) only 1 regular cashier with line usually. Thank you.
