I highly recommend hiring Don as a dog trainer. I adopted a one-year-old terrier mix from a rescue organization at the beginning of this year who was a bundle of nerves and completely untrained. She showed signs of separation anxiety, lunged at other dogs while on her leash and was very fearful of the world around her. After private training sessions with Don, and months of putting into practice the advice and tools he provided us with, she has become a confident, happy, silly and obedient pup. Don is professional, thorough, kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with dogs. There's a lot of misinformation online and in received wisdom about dog training. Because of Don's help, I have a happy, healthy, confident and respectful dog. Thank you Don!

AMAZING !!
I would highly recommend Don and his training methods :)
Our pups loved "the hot dog man" and are really enjoying their training.
This has also made our lives much more enjoyable and I am finally able to take both my dogs on walks together without being pulled around and left feeling stressed and frustrated.
We did 4 training classes with Don which really helped us (the humans) learn a lot and remember to keep up with daily training sessions. 4 classes won't give you a perfect dog but it will leave you feeling confident and motivated to keep working and playing with your pup to get the results you want.
Dons training methods are gentle, positive and fun for both dog & owner.

Don is a thoughtful and kind dog trainer who will bring his love of dogs and curious mind to whatever problem you need solved. He will help provide not only practical tips, ideas and solutions for you to try, but will remind you of your dog’s perspective throughout. You will have one lucky dog if s/he gets to meet Don!

I was lucky enough to have Don on hand to help me out when I first got my Leonberger puppy. Owning a giant breed dog (he's 175lbs now), you want to instill good behaviours from a very young age, and Don provided lots of great advice and tips to help me help my dog achieve that.

Don is an incredible trainer! I'm lucky that my shepherd mix doesn't have any behavioural issues, but rather I wanted her to have some mental stimulation. I've seen an increase in confidence in her since working with Don and she's pumped for her training sessions. Don understands that dogs, like people, are all unique and he caters to do the dog's personality. I highly, highly recommend his service!

Would like to say Thank you to Don for his help. Got in touch within my FB post for trainer recommendations. He kindly suggested and provided links to articles about how to find proper trainer, what to look for, etc.. I read all and found them very helpful. Therefore we were not able to meet personally due to geographic/logistics reasons. However, Donald did not give up on us:) We got in touch via messenger and later over phone to discuss issues/problems we have with our dog. He spent his personal time without any doubts and making NO money, just because he wanted to help as much is he can. I got valuable recommendations from him. Donald, your help is greatly appreciated.

I like the conversation format - informative , not prescriptive - and very easy to track the message. Excellent video photography and presentation that should appeal to the dog owner market. Could evolve into a TV series!�
