The food is okaynothing special. Prices reasonable for Canmore. Service was good and draft beer selection was good.

Ambiance of the pub was very nice. The meatloaf open faced sandwich was very good but the coleslaw was definitely from the previous day or before. I had a Guinness draught and it tasted slightly off. Possibly because it was the first of the day and had sat in the hose all night. Service was excellent. Beautiful view of the mountains if you sit at the back of the pub by the door to the patio.

Decent food and low key atmosphere. Had beer from Canmore brewing. Nice deck with a great view of the surrounding mountains. Not upscale, down to earth place.

Set in a small mall, this is a great we pub. It has A British Pub/ Sports Bar vibe. The food is great, the drink selection broad and they make their own very tasty hot sauce which you can buy to enjoy at home. I bet it would spike a great Caesar.

All around great pub! The food is fantastic and service is prompt and friendly! The patio is one of the best in town! Definitely worth a stop when you're in Canmore.

Rose and Crown has been a go to restaurant for many years, both in Banff and Canmore. But two difficult experiences in both locations have confirmed our decision to never return to either.
The food has been inconsistent recently, but the major issue has been customer service. After a concern over a potential allergic reaction to an ingredient, rather than have the chef chat with us, or bring an ingredient list, the rude and condescending server decided to take it upon herself to argue about it, which made me even more uncomfortable. I subsequently asked her to take the soup back to the kitchen. I ate the garlic toast and left it at that. When the bill arrived, I was charged full price; the server hadn't even mentioned the situation to her manager, instead taking it upon herself to be once again difficult about the situation. I asked for the manager who voided the soup but charged for the garlic toast.
So for two bucks, and a whole lot of attitude, we decided after many years, to cut our losses and find a new go to. Good luck with your server!response / report this review -

Nice little pub with owner Rob who makes sure every guest experience is a great one! In Canmore everyone knows everyone so stop on in it's almost like cheers! Lol but seriously the French onion soup is to die for and the patrons are all excellent for random conversation!

Stopped in on way to Banff. Lunch was awesome. Great atmosphere, fabulous staff. Place to come back to next time I'm in from Ontario!. Ya Gotta Eat Here.

Food is amazing! This is our second time driving 2 hours just to come here and eat. Service has been good both times.
