Great customer service
The service here is very honest. I brought my bike all the way here to Essex and I live in Kitchener. Was told Ricks performance was the best and it's true.
Great service. 5 stars means Loved it. Love is a unique word to describe the experience in a proper motorsports shop. So, I'm going to use the word iron & steel. Yes, they ironed it out and put the steel back on the road on a scale of 5 out of 5. Not that there is anything wrong with the word love. ZZR 600 Kawasaki.
Needed complete skid plate protection for two (2) new 2014 Yamaha 700 Grizzly's. Rick's Performance had very competitive pricing for the complete set(s). After talking to the sales person Jeri, I orderd the (two) complete sets. They came in four boxes in a reasonable amount of time. We went to work right away in our shop to install these complete sets. Right off the bat we found that the front A-Arms DID NOT fit the 2014 front end. We then checked the rear A-Arms and found that they too DID NOT fit. I called and asked for an explanation because not only did their website claim they would fit on the 2014 grizzly's but she was surprised at my request and said that WARN Industries claimed that they would fit. I was very pissed off to have wasted this time and money so I called WARN Industries myself. Talking to one of their "specialists" I explaned to him what I was going through. He then admitted to me that they still have that these complete sets do fit the new 2014 grizzlys'. I told him not to waste anyone elses time. He agreed and they apparently updated/ revised their system. Reason that they did not fit is because Yamaha modified the new Grizzlys with a wider stance that affected the measurements for the FRONT and REAR A-Arms. So instead of returning Everything, I decided to see if we can "modify" the front A-Arms to fit. We needed to straighten out the rear end of the A-Arm and drill two new holes for the bracket. We then checked the smash plate and under carriage . They actually fit. But the Rear A-Arms DID NOT. I took pictures of the "modifications" that we did and sent the to Rick's and WARN Industries..So, we actually kept the FRONT A-Arms and the under carriage plates , but returned the Rear A-Arms for both ATV's. Rick's sent me two return labels and I sent them off for the credit due.I just received a credit back from Rick's for the returned REAR A-ARMS. This whole process was a hassle, but Rick's performance was not to blame. They were just as surprised as we were and I am very satisfied on their response. They were told by WARN INdustries that they would fit , when they didn't, they responded like a quality company would. Hats off to Rick's Performance for being a quality, honest company and refunding me what I returned. I would certainly recommend them for all your needs. I give them a A+ Thanks to Jeri . I will certainly be doing my buisness at Rick's Performance in the very near future.
