Fantastic service. Richard was very helpful, kind, and knew all the ins and outs of the system. His inside knowledge of prosecutors and judges helped me immensely. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Ballantyne to anyone who has found themselves in any legal trouble.

8 years ago Richard helped me out of an impossible situation where I was falsely arrested by a corrupt investigating officer twice and harassed for months in my home by the police. The same rookie officer (a.k.a. super trooper) beat up a young lady at a drinking driving counter attack and plead guilty to assault but was still allowed to be on active duty during his 9 months of probation. This constable appeared mentally unstable and the detachment stood behind him 100% - I was in fear for my own personal safety and a criminal record would kill my livelihood. Richard protected my safety during 18 months waiting for trail by communicating directly with the police and all charges were eventually dropped prior to trail. Richard's pricing was fair and he exceeded my expectations - If I went with a cheaper or less experienced lawyer on the web - I guarantee the outcome would've been much different in my case because the entire police detachment was against me. The rookie was transferred to northern BC and I still peacefully live in my home today without being harassed as it should be thanks to Richard. You will not find a better criminal lawyer in the all of BC.

I had a very pleasant experience with Richard he was so helpful and went to all my court dates for me so I didn't have to miss work.. He won my case AND got all my charges dropped! I would recommend him to anybody he's great at what he does!

I cannot give enough praise about Mr. Ballantyne. I'd give him 10 out of 5 stars if I could: he's professional, knows his legal craft, tries his best to represent you fairly, and tells it like it is.
As mentioned on lawyerratingz, he's not cheap, but legal representation is not something you should cheap out on in today's deleterious and complicated court matters. BUT is priced fairly for the positive outcome we were expecting.
Would definitely use (and highly recommend) him forthwith for any legal matters!response / report this review
