Great front house staff, cozy restaurant with delicious food ( get there before 6pm and it’s half price appy’s and $5 drinks). We paid for a room without a view and there is still a view of the water(see pic). Upon departure I notified the staff though of the hair in our tub before using it and weird spots that I only hope is food grease stains on the foot runner on the bed. This place is dog friendly for those who care, and those who don’t, be warned you may hear barking dogs if someone else brought theirs. :) All and All still a lovely place and I’m coming back again!
Decent enough place. Comfortable rooms. Every floor has a different theme. Restaurant is good, if a little fancy at times. Wish there was more to do nearby within walking distance but they have no control over that.
We had such a good stay at the Oceanfront Resort. From the moment we walked in the place we were greeted with warmth and beauty. The staff were knowledgeable and willing to help out in anyway we needed. We had a server named Jay in the restaurant that was the most friendly and personable server I have ever met. She made it a pleasure to dine there. The food was very good as well which made the dining experience even better.
The rooms were tastefully appointed. Large screen TV, king size bed, a desk and a couch. Large soaked tub, farm style sink and a TV in the bathroom.
The grounds are beautiful with tropical plants all around. On the patio are rocking chairs and puffy comfy chairs. There are fire pits one can relax and have a drink by. The grounds overlook the harbour with a sorts of boats moored there. Grounds feature a coffee shop, excellent fitness center, swimming pool and hot tub.
For a great stay try the Oceanfront resort and get the rest you deserve.
Excellent resort, wonderful location right on the water front. Very convenient to water sports. Able to rent Hobie sailing kayaks right next door. This hotel had an amenity that we have never seen in Canada or the US. The very cool thing was the TV in the bathroom. Made it memorable. We highly recommend this Prestige resort and intend to return.
Fantastic accommodations. Rooms have a beautiful view. Staff are very friendly and attentive. They seem to enjoy their job and it really shows. Even sharing an elevator ride with one of the cleaning staff was a fun experience. She struck up a conversation about my dog that was staying with me. Real people taking good care of the guests. It's a wonderful place and I will definitely be back.
We stayed for 1 night over mothers day weekend. We checked out mothers day morning and regret not staying for the brunch because it looked incredible!!
Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, comfortable rooms and great food in the restaurant.
Great atmosphere. Was very impressed with the food and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Their parking lot was a little busy, as there were two different weddings going on while we were there but other than that no major complaints. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the city for a night or two without breaking the bank.
Great place. If the prices are good we will keep going. The views are great the staff is friendly and the hotel is clean and very charming. This place would be five stars but for that small truth. We have been going here for a few years now and we like quiet get aways. The hotel on long weekends has some of the biggest out of town weddings Good for wedding parties not so good if you want to unwind. So keep that in mind. Enjoy.
Clean and comfortable. The views are stunning and the lot is very well maintained.
The only complaints are the parking spaces for guests need to be improved as there wasn't anywhere to park because of the restaurant. Also there should be a stocked mini fridge or some water for the guests in the room.
Besides that, everything was excellent.
We frequent this marvellous resort whenever we have business in Victoria. The service is impeccable, the rooms are nicely appointed and the views are spectacular. Picture if you will a southern estate right out of Gone With The Wind. Its waterfront courtyard is spacial and decorated with potted plants and sports a very colourful garden. The grounds consist of underground parking as well as front entrance parking. Tall columns frame the entrance beautifully, adding to the southern look. The lobby has a welcoming air with couch and comfortable overstuffed chairs but there is also a wonderful sitting area by the window that is right out of House & Gardens. Some rooms have balconies while others do not. There is a wonderful restaurant on site. Tasty dishes and great atmosphere.
If you are using GPS please don't go by their directions and turn left at Otter Point. Just go straight through the traffic circle and after a few minutes of driving you'll see the resort on the left hand side of the road.
