Very scenic, right on the water. Hit and miss with the food. Service very slow. Chicken wings tiny and dry but sandwiches tasty and appealing. Long beer list and good wine offerings. Excellent brewed coffee

Food was okay but very expensive for what we got. Very negative experience with the waiter. The restaurant was full of flies. One flew into my wine glass (3/4 full). When I told the waiter, he asked me whether I wanted him to take it out! When I said I wanted another glass he said that as soon as the food is on the table it is no longer the restaurant's responsibility "that is your wine". I replied "that is your fly". He took the glass away and replaced it (I think) but it should not have taken sarcasm (on my part) to resolve. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Had a terrible experience. A lot of the items were not available, what I got was tasteless and expensive. The toilets were very messy. Overall, a bad experience.

This is one place you need to go for lunch or dinner when you're in North Hatley. You can come by boat as well and you can eat on the river in good weather.

A really nice place with good food and good service on two floors. It is a pub downstairs and there is a good beer selection.

Where: Pilsen - North Hatley, Quebec
What: A restaurant by the water
How was it: The building is nice and it looks like the only large restaurant in the area. We would have liked to sit by the water, but seeing how there are limited spaces we were out of luck. We did get to sit in the back with some form of water view.
Besides that the service was mediocre and so was the food, so this is a weak 4/5. My jerk chicken was good but my wife's salmon risotto was extremely salty. The local beer was good and so was my wife's sangria.
Grade: Eli = 4-, Serge = 4-
Recommend: Explore the alternatives before you make your choice. We're on the fence.

Beautiful terrace on the water. Nice wait staff. There is a bit of a wait for the food and you may not get what you ordered but overall a good experience. I would suggest just getting a drink and maybe an appetizer. Do not go here if you are in any sort of a hurry even getting your check may be a while.
