Have been a regular customer for quite a few years. Never had a bad experience. The staff is not only knowledgeable but are patient and friendly. The selection of fish and accessories is by far the best yet, good prices too! Really enjoy visiting with my little girls for them it’s like a field trip keep up the good work!

purchased a leopard gecko about a year ago. i was pressured into buying sand, and when i tried to put it back they were very rude and i felt forced to buy it, even though i didn't use it. they had 20 leopard geckos in a 15 gallon tank, with 3 hides, sand, and heat lamps. later on, i called the store to say that the heat mat i purchased was not working properly. they told us to buy a heat lamp, and when i told them i did my research and i'm supposed to use my heat lamp, the employee said "you're really set in your ways of knowing everything aren't you" in a rude tone. i bought a betta fish around a year ago too, after purchasing the gecko, and the employees were extremely misinformed and told me to get a 0.5 gallon tank. i put the fish in a 10 gallon anyway. very unimpressed with how rude the employees are

Bought a little holland lop bunny to try to rescue him from having to live in a pet store and he already is needing vet appointments not impressed. They had the rabbits in with guinnea pigs not cool pet lovers not cool

This store has been around many many years and it's the only real pet store around that actually sells pets all the others really just sell fish and hamsters and small pets, I'v had cats bunnies etc from them and they were all great and the owners are very nice people, my children love coming in here and so do I I just bought some pet rats from them and they are excellent they are in great health and were not scared of me at all they have a huge selection of colours I haven't seen before at other stores so I plan on getting all my pet rats from here.

I had recently set up a saltwater aquarium and while speaking with an employee who had seemed very knowledgeable about saltwater tanks it came up that I did not have a filter. She told me that I needed to buy one so I bought one and spent $260 on a filter only to find out later that I don't need one at all. Now they won't accept a return since I used it as she had made it apparent I needed to set it up right away. Either all they wanted to do was make a sale or she had no idea what she was talking about, either one is horrible.
Not only this but the same day a friend purchased a Ferret and later that day we discovered it has FLEAS! When we went back they told us then "oh yeah their flea treatment probably ran up about a month ago".
Completely baffled at how dishonest and/or ignorant these employees are.response / report this review -

I continuously get my female rats from here as other pet stores "don't carry females".
The customer service is great, the animals are all well taken care of, and the manager is a really nice guy. I do however, have a small problem in how they pick up rats by the tail because rats can lose their tail if pulled on, and once that happens it won't grow back. So I would love to see that change.response / report this review
