This is our go to place for handing out lunches for the homeless and less fortunate. I know the city was investing millions into this particular park to "make it beautiful" by adding an amphitheater and some other things, but the reality is that this park is full of tents and people down on the luck. This park is known for the weekly event the "Jam in Jubilee" and hosts some other events as well. It has a tennis court and a playground with some picnic tables as well.

Beware of this place the homeless population often frequent here leaving a trail of dirty needles left behind in their wake, on a positive note the 5 and 2 ministries is always there around noon to cater to their personal needs offering warm clothes and coffee everyday if you come across their mission please donate

The pickball is good but the people around the park are scary.

Tidy park with few dogs. Public washrooms and several trash receptacles. Tennis courts and parking. Half a dozen picnic tables.

They clean the place up very well for the Jam in Jubilee concert series, but apart from those 4 Thursdays a year the park is full of crack pipes, used needles, and homeless people. I wouldn't wall through this park at night for a million bucks.

Lots of broken glass on the ground, homeless people asking for money and be careful for loose needles on the ground. I would not take a child to play at the playground.

Jam in Jubilee is a festival held in the park on Thursdays in August. Live bands, local artisans. Nice place to gather with community.

Not a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Watch out for used needles (1 star for enjoyability of parks). On the other hand it is a great place for community outreach and to hand out food and water to those who need it (5 stars for ability for community involvement to help those less fortunate) average 3 stars combining both uses.
