called them today to ask if they had certain canned foods and when I asked for the price the lady proceeded to say that she didn't know the prices "at the top of her head" as if she couldn't take 2 minutes of her time to check the prices??? Wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I've been using this service for years. The staff is very nice and they give all options to make informed decisions regarding your pet care. It's good to know they are there 24/7 for emergencies.

Horrible experience. Had to drive over an 1 and a half to go there in the middle of thr night because my dog was lethargic, vomiting, and seizing. No physical exam done, only a temperature taken and belly touched. Doctor was completely unsympathetic and did not believe me when I told her my dog was seizing. Made me sign off on procedures before they even did anything despite the fact that they could clearly tell my dog was very sick. In the end as soon as he was stable enough I took him put of there and brought him to my own vet when it opened. Ended up paying over 1000 which is twice as much as what it should be. That fact that you make people pay that much and have to put half down before even doing anything is horrible.☹

I was just looking for a number to send to my friend for her dog and I've read some reviews prior to posting and had to post even though I had no intention of doing so.
Yes it is expensive and they want to be paid.it's a business and a vet that provides 24/7 emergency service. We got hit with a lot of costs and fees that we could not afford BUT they saved or dogs' life, gave great service and were more than pleasant. Losing a pet or having to pay for their convalescence is never in your plan when getting a pet but it's a reality and I highly recommend this clinic if you love your furry, scaly, feathery or stinky family member. 5 billion stars. And thanks again for saving Moose :)

Wouldn't even give them 1 star. Took our dog tonight. He had to be put down. Felt like I was a crook. We were in such a panic about our dog being sick didn't realize I forgot my wallet. Had my credit card info which I had given it to my daughter ( who's dog he was). Forgot my wallet at home as we were in such a panic to see our dog. They treated me like I was a criminal. So upsetting as we were grieving for our pet. Omg not sure I should have left our baby there? The bill was 689.00 for a visit, X-ray and to put our baby down..

My boy just jumped on his bed (his palace), something that he could not do before we attended which is a very good sign. Thank you for all the wonderful work you do, given the pressure that you are under.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I brought my dog in with a leg injury. They were not accurate as to what would be required to be done. They demanded immediate payment before any work was done. They are more concerned about prompt payment then your pet. In an emergency situation you will have no choice but to go here and it's unfortunate. The receptionist couldn't do simple math and because I was pointing her mistakes ( with my bill) she started being belligerent and angry. In the end I had to pay 4000.00 and all the work/surgeries they said would be done never got done. All they did was bandage his leg and keep him locked up for 3 weeks.

Wouldn't go back unless it was an emergency considering it's the only 24/7 vet. The man working the front desk was more worried about the payment rather than my dog. They didn't have a proper IV machine and they kept my dog in a room in the back with his IV just hanging out of a cage. The Doctor we were dealing with had left, so nobody could tell us our dogs condition, they had no idea how he was doing.
Pembina didn't give him the proper care he needed and if we kept him there it would've been fatal. Alpine Animal Hospital ordered in medication that he needed, while the ER vet told us he didn't need any more medication. We transferred him as soon as our regular vet opened.

Overall good experience, had an emergency late Saturday evening. The staff and Doctor were straight forward. By 10pm my dog was in surgey, the doctor himself called around 11:30pm that the surgey went well and she would be good. Thank you all.

Overall had a good experience - my bunny was getting good care, just not quite as friendly as some other places. Super expensive for emergency overnight exams. I also appreciate that they take on injured wildlife for transfer to the wildlife rehab centre!
