*PUPPY’S FIRST GROOMING* How can you make a puppy more comfortable with their first groom? A couple of suggestions I have are: 1. While you are having a play session with your puppy, play with their feet. This gets them used to having their paws held. 2. Gently wiggle your fingers in the outer part of their ear. This will help them get used to a groomer cleaning their ears. 3. Brush them daily with lots of praise and treats. This will set them up to know that this will be done on a daily basis, and will prevent uncomfortable matting of the fur. On top of that, puppy’s first groom with me be a fun, light and positive experience while taking all the time we need. 😁🐶

I attended a grooming seminar today put on by LET’s Groom (Thanks Andrea!) Also pictured is me with a Dandie Dinmont Terrier, one of the breeds represented at the Expo.
