Whenever I have had to call or contact them in public, they have been super friendly and happy to help no matter how small the issue may have seemed.

Sarcastic response to two women in one apartment building afraid of the harassment of our landlord. the Landlord Tenancy Branch - after hours of discussion stated this is not under their purview this is a police matter. The Constable's response, without even coming to see us, I am in my 50's my neighbor in her thirties and other women in the building, told us to pick up and move. THAT was the stellar response. The Sgt. response was not even a sympathetic apology as we were clearly upset.if he lived next door should we Sell our houses??? Safety - Service - Friendship? None of the above.

July 5th, forgot my cell phone early this AM and on my way to returning to my home in queens park I turned right from Royal onto 2nd st, got pulled over by NWPD. There according to the officer due to residents complaints of two much traffic cutting through QP going uptown. Explained to the officer that I was a resident of QP, only a block from home and that I was going to retrieve my forgotten cell. According to the officer I should know better and that my offence was even more "egregious" than people cutting through. The way in which the officer spoke to me was offensive and disrespectful. I have no doubt that this traffic control is designed to stop people from cutting through and speeding to shorten travel and avoid other traffic. For an officer to state that returning to my home is even comparable is ridiculous, and not at all what the concerned residents intended. If this is how the NWPD tries to build community they sure missed the opportunity with me!

Without question the most disgusting police department in Canada. No question. Victim Services can attest to that. I agree with Daryl's comments. I agree with Dev's comments. I agree with A Google. I agree with Jovaniethio Best rating. My brother basically kidnapped and murdered my father for $300,000 and these stupid filthy corrupt clowns wont even take a report. Frgn phun a holes!!

They have a specialized family violence unit. I needed help with failures in Coquitlam to help my family with abuse and they would not help because the original offence was not in new west. I was not seen for "jurisdiction policy" and my family ended up destroyed. Someone should have stepped up. Instead, they sent me to a supervisor in Coquitlam and I was forced to deal with the officer who was sitting on his hands while I suffered. It has made the courage to continue impossible

Very horrible service!! And they are the reason that i moved out from new westminster. CAN'T TRUST THEM! I was physical assaulted around my house area and called them right the way, they said they would come to my house in 30 mins. However, they DIDN'T show up for the whole night ( I had been waiting for the police officer till 2am. ). The next day I got a phone call from them and they asked me to go to Police Department. I went there and waited for almost 2 hours, then a police officer came out and told me they were TOO BUSY TO SEE ME, they sent me home again and said they would come when they are not busy. At very late of the night, one police officer finally showed up and just asked me some simple questions, and said he would try to reach to the building manager and get the camera record. However, for the next few weeks, I only got two calls from him and was told that the building manager didn't answer his call. And that's it. Until now, I still dont have any response from them and it has been over 4 months. I was treated very poorly and felt like they dont take me seriously. They are very irresponsible for my case, and I dont feel safe to live in new west. I've moved out from new west and i wouldn't live in new west again because of their terrible service. Good jobs guys.

One time my battery was dead, so i got a nice lady cop who happened to be in my parking lot to give me a boost. THANKS NWPD! :)

Unfortunately I have been treated very poorly by this organization in regards to on-going domestic abuse case and have not been protected, understood, nor justifiably validated. Because of on going mental health concerns within my relationship that have been manipulated by my spouse continually for the past 5 years, these men and women who serve and protect are extremely dis respectful to me and are quick to take judgment and validate him without even proper justification. This organization disgusts me and is not to be trusted. They abuse there authority and think it's justifiable in the way they treat people without humanity. Utter disgust.
