We gave them a budget of ~$100/person for 5 people (not including drinks) and we came out satisfied. They ordered for us with our only request being the bone marrow which didn’t disappoint!
Definitely more of a date night or celebratory type of restaurant with the pricing but the environment and staff were all amazing. Constantly filling water, removing plates, and food service was quick between dishes.
Would go back again just for the marrow!
Went for brunch. It was okay. I think the value is there for the experience, and if you get the cheaper entrees. The entrees were decent. The main selling point is the unlimited appetizers, which were not bad. I find the sushi quality mediocre, and it's really weird that they don't use sushi soy sauce (or if it is, it's a pretty bad soy sauce). Overall, quality of the sushi + terrible soy sauce didn't warrant ordering it one or two more times despite it being unlimited. The unlimited oysters were good basically because they were unlimited, and the sauce they provide was also great. I wouldn't say it's bad though, just nothing amazing.
Food was good. Tried the brunch. Thought they would have more variety but what they had was good enough.
Kids have no menu so be aware most items on the appetizers are raw.
However the restaurant itself is very nice.
It's a modern fusion Japanese restaurant. Good is pretty good overall. Good customer service and nice renovation. A bit pricey, but comes with good quality. Give it a try.
PS: our server Michelle is super funny and awesome
Staffs are friendly and really welcoming. They have such a nice ambiance, and parking is just right in front or across the street. My favorite dish is black cod (must-try). Sushi are fresh, wagyu steak are okay (too much fat). Bonus point, you can choose the cup for your drinks, which is really cute and creative. Definitely come back and try more
