Moved from Ontario recently and bought a home in SE Calgary that has a gas fireplace. I tried a couple of times to start it with the switch on the wall and it did not start. I Googled to find a gas fireplace repair technician and the first place I called was Mr. Fireplace and Sherry answered. Very pleasant, forthcoming and the best part I thought was they were the company that originally installed this fireplace 23 years ago when the house was built.

We arranged for a tech and Friday afternoon, Mike called to say he was on his way. When he arrived he brought in his tools and blanket and proceeded to clean the fireplace and by his reflection it had not been cleaned in years. He was also very personable, meticulous and focused. He replaced a wall switch that would be the device to turn on the fireplace. With-in a short time, he cleaned up, vacuumed and gathered his tools and left.

I will definitely call them again to annually service our fireplace and hope Mike is our tech….thank you Mr. Fireplace, Sherry AND Mr. Mike!!!

Huge thank you to Darryl for the superb job he did today cleaning two gas fireplaces in our home. The interiors, mesh and glass are absolutely gleaming and look brand new again. If you are keen on maintaining your home for the long term, this cleaning service offered by Mr. Fireplace is well worth doing every few years. Darryl was also super polite and professional. Highly recommend!
