Great hike. We completed the summit in a total of 8 hours with lunch and breaks, very nice views of the lake all the way up! Kind of smoky when we went so pictures posted are not the "full" view. You can hike to the meadow section for a shorter hike or all the way to the weather hut which is a false summit. The real summit requires some tricky navigation up a steep section of loose rocks. Be careful if you attempt and be sure to leave lots of room between people for falling rocks! Will definitely do again next year.

Being close to calgary, this mountain in the Kananaskis range is easily my favourite. Spectacular views make this challenging hike worth it.
