The best panzerotti in town! I think there might be other things on the menu, but I'm not sure to be honest. I never bother to look!
Good beer and drink selection. I'd love to love it but every time I come here this food makes me ill. I've tried to give it a chance time after time to no avail. Staff is never friendly. Never again
My wife and I took my dad for dinner here today and had very high hopes based on all the positive reviews. While certainly not the most important thing in visiting a restaurant, I found the decor to be a little dated, seemed like something out of the 80's. The fire exit was also partially blocked by a bussing cart, which was also slightly concerning. The menu was big (perhaps too big) and while the selection is good, I have found that a smaller menu makes it much easier to focus on food quality. I had a Panzerotti and while the ponzo itself was pretty good I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce which I found tasted a little generic and like something you would find in a grocery store. Other people seem to like their food so I would give them another chance but would not order the ponzo again.
Not a fan of this place. My food wasn't made the way I asked for it to be so I sent it back. It came back wrong again. So I sent it Back a second time. The manager came out and was extremely angry with me meanwhile I did nothing wrong. I am not picky. My food just didn't come out the way I asked for it. I ended up.having to pay for something I didn't eat.
Ate here for the first time today with my boyfriend and we had a great dinner for a fair price. To our surprise their pickle spears (and every thing else) were made fresh in house & they were great. Our server and food came quickly was completely fresh and tasty. I had a BBQ chicken wrap with lots of fresh veggies in it and he had a chicken feta & bacon sandwich. Great variety of food, can't wait to go back and try more.
Also very clean and homey inside :)

Great food as always, cold beer makes for a good night.
It's OK. Your typical hang out pub to watch a game, or the shoot the *bleep* with friends. However, the quality of the food seems dependent on who might be cooking that particular day. My wife and I both ordered the fish dinner, and had to send it back as it was ice cold and still partially frozen in the middle. Unacceptable and also a potential food safety issue. Hint to the cook: Use a thermometer, wise guy. You can't judge the doneness of food simply by looks. This isn't a steak you're cooking. YOU, more than anyone, should already know that, but I digress. My son said his panzerotti was just OK, hot around the outside edges, but barely lukewarm towards the middle, and mentioned that the sauce tasted "funny."
I've been here before and had excellent food. The last two visits; one in November of 2016, and again just this past March, left a lot to be desired. Waitress kept yakking away about how "good" their battered mushrooms are. That may indeed be the case, but my wife is allergic, thank-you. Just an odd "vibe" to this place lately. I'll give it another chance in the coming months, and make a final verdict then whether I shall return. Or not. Prices are climbing too, but many other restaurants have also jacked up their prices If you do plan on going here, go in with mediocre expectations. Not impressed.
Cold beer, great service, good pub food. Can't go wrong.
I enjoy eating at Mike's Place. It is always good and the service is excellent.
Best panzerottis in Chatham-Kent! Decent tap selection for the beer snob. Relatively quiet atmosphere. Good for a post-work drink or a night out to watch the game.
