Thanks to the hosts of the Ponoka Winter Jumper series . We had great feedback from our horse & riders who went to the show. Ms. Sward kept her heels down , focused and jumped up a level with confidence and ease. Just another on of our young riders we are so proud of.

Third Weekend in November we had horse& riders at two different locations participating in their favourite riding discipline. We are so proud of Oceana ! It takes a village to create a STAR!! Today was our annual Christmas Party at Marit Stables and we are SO excited and proud of our riders. As we reflect on our accomplishments in 2018 we look forward to what 2019 will bring. Anything is possible with this amazing group of young people. Aim for the Stars and you will become One!

Third Christmas Party Post is a Charm! Many clients, friends and family members gathered at the barn for our 2018 Christmas Party! Thank you to the Sugar Plum Fairies that brought the treats that overflowed in our coffee room. Jessica Baur managed the professional photo shoot of horse and riders with ease and enthusiasm. Augusta Marit was on top of handling the craft table activity; teaching students how to build a bran mash. Kerry Marit was green like the Grinch, sick with the flu in bed so she sent Greetings by way of text messages. Wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas from the Marit Stable Staff and family and a Happy New Year!

It was a "Holly Jolly" Christmas Party at the barn this afternoon. The Grinch would have been jealous of all of the amazing delicious treats that people brought to share. Thank you to Jessica Baur for keeping the professional photos shoot moving along safely and efficiently. We are so proud of our ponies and young horses that marched in the chaotic arena with confidence and had their photo taken with their young riders. Augusta Marit instructed the Christmas Craft, using a special "Bran Mash" recipe for horses. As guests mulled around and visited while enjoying the ambiance of community and friendship. We are so grateful for such an amazing group of people in our lives. Merry Christmas to One and All!! It was a Very Merry Christmas Celebration at the barn this afternoon. Thank you to everyone that brought delicious treats that overflowed in our coffee room. We had Christmas music playing as riders brought their horses into the arena for professional photos with their ponies. Thank you to Jessica Baur our young rider instructor for getting ponies to have their ears pointed, making sure the kids were smiling for photos. Throw Back Thursday - This chestnut gelding was imported by Marit Stables. The moment "Ingenisio" arrived in Canada spectators gathered at the rail to watch him on course. Here is s horse that brought energy and bounce into the ring, with Augusta Marit in the saddle together they were exciting to watch. Featured here is Augusta & Ingenisio easily flying over the 1.2m at Spruce Meadows in 2009.

Throw Back Thursday! Building a great athlete from the ground up takes a small village to get to the podium.
