#Thanks to Elisa Gross, Shmuel Pinson and all the Shabbat to Share volunteers, who prepared and packed and delivered 3 meals this week to all our patrons in preparation of Shabbat and Sukkot - what an awesome team of volunteers tripling up to make sure all our Jewish Community members celebrate Shabbat and Sukkot in style #Sukkot celebrations start Sunday evening September 23 - nine days of "festival of our joy" - let's celebrate with good food, song and dance in the Mada Sukkah !

Pharmascience joined us at MADA today for corporate team building!!! 10 employees cut , peeled, chopped, packed boxes and served lunch to our patrons in the cafeteria! They had a full day at MADA with grand smiles. Thanks to the super awesome team of volunteers from Pharmascience for all their hard work and great team spirit🤗

🔹Labour day at Mada was a full house with lots of volunteers🔹
Kids and their family's from TBDJ were helping out by preparing food baskets and holiday meals for Rosh Hashana 🍯🍏 It was an awesome labour day with tons of volunteers of all ages packing, sorting, doing food prep and delivering food baskets to 2000 homes.

Volunteers at MADA, are busy preparing 2500 meals to be served at the Rosh Hashanah community dinners hosted by MADA at 10 locations across Montreal, as well as the 4500 Shabbat and holiday meals to be delivered personally to Shabbat to Share patrons during this holiday month.

Thanks to all of our volunteers who have been busy all week (and Sundays) packing up the 2000 Rosh Hashana food baskets for our community members.
Delivery is on the way to our 2000 clients for an awesome Rosh Hashana meal and lots of goodies in each and every basket!😊😊
We want to thank all of our MADA volunteers and sponsors for their extraordinary efforts, hard work and generosity to make sure that no one is left behind !!!

A huge shout out to Camp for Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program: On Sunday, August 19th, a great group of youths joined MADA in community building activities. The kids worked with lots of food preparation: cutting, peeling, and chopping veggies. They also helped us in the food bank! Thank you to Camp for the Junior Youth for helping MADA to help others - you empower us to do more! 💪 ❤️

Mada helped me in so many ways! I got food baskets when I was pregnant, baby formula, diapers and more food baskets after my son was born on a monthly basis and during holidays, fruits and veggies, warm lunches, clothing for my son, brand new clothes and beautiful Fall boots for myself, support while I was in a domestic violence situation and inspiration to start my own non-profit for single moms! Mada makes a huge difference in so many lives! I love Mada!

I am so grateful for all that you wonderful people do. I have been hit hard by illness and have lost everything due to it, material as well as spiritual. But every Thursday I get a beautiful Shabbos meal delivered along with a smile they may be short visits, but they really do make a difference when you only get out once or twice a month, {especially when by the middle of the month you start running very low on food}

G-D bless all of the amazing volunteers especially those who have gone out of their way to help me, as well as the other ones who work so hard in the background.

Mada Community Center gives food,clothing and furniture to anyone who is in need. They have a social worker on staff to counsel people who have personal and financial difficulty and try to help them to get on their feet again. Government sponsored social work programs as well as a superb volunteer program, I am proud to be a volunteer and part of the Mada family. B.H.

Last week, I went to volunteer at Mada with my colleagues for the first time. It was an un-real experience that i'd do over and over again. A big thank you to Rabbi Shmuel for introducing us to the whole organization, how they work and all of the generous, thoughtful gestures they undertake. There is no doubt that I would go back.. THEY HELP EVERYONE!!!! :)
