Tulip tree, 6 months after they "pruned" it. More like took 3 huge branches off right at the trunk (which will rot within and kill the tree).

Wrote a 1* review after the work, but it seems it's not here. People need to know this place charges 800$ to remove 3 branches and work for 1hr.

I Do NOT recommend, unless your objective is to remove the entire tree. I'm sure they can do that.. but to call themselves arborists is a lie.

We hired Markus, Aundrea and crew to come and remove, and trim trees in our strata complex. In my dealings with them, they were professional and very knowledgeable. They are honest and billed us for what they had quoted. I would highly recommend them. If you are looking for good value, honesty, great workmanship with 30 years of experience. Markus, Kaleb, Chase and Morris all did an excellent job in a tight city (33 x 120) property! They maneuvered around garages, houses and hedges with NO damage to anything. Very professional team would definitely hire them again. Plus their clean up skills were amazing! They are the Best.🤩

One of my tall trees in the back yard snapped in half in a windstorm we had. McConkey was able to come that day for a quote (though I'm sure they get quite busy during/after windstorms) and squeezed us in to get the job done within a couple of days. Not only that, they were more than happy to accommodate some of the extra requests I had for them when they arrived.
Their original quote was WAY better than the other two quotes I received. The extra work they provided was just as affordable, and was quoted on the spot. The workers were very polite and professional and even took the time to double-check if the extra work they were doing was how I envisioned it.
At the end of the day, they are an easy 5 Star and I have zero reason to look around the next time I need an Arborist. The work and experience was perfect; as I wish all company calls were like. I'll be using McConkey's every time.
