5 years ago I purchased a front entrance and double garage door from Portes Bourassa. They were the most expensive Mahogany wood door model in their show room. Cost me about $35 000. From the day they were installed I started having trouble with the doors; cracking, joints separating, colour fading, etc,These were definitely NOT the previous hard wood doors I owned which lasted over 25 years. I even religiously serviced my doors with Bourassa every year at a cost of $500 the first year and $1000 every year after that. On the last servicing,the doors were in such bad shape, they simply patched and spay painted my front door. They now look like painted dark burgundy doors. You can no longer tell that they are Mahogany doors. When I called Bourassa recently they told me they now contract out their maintenance. I called the company who took over the servicing and after they visited, they told me to service my Bourassa front door they would need to take it to the shop and completely strip it to bring back the beauty of the wood. Basically a major investment!! These doors have been a money pit from day one. I have decided to no longer spend money on them and to simply paint them when necessary. Over the years when I complained to the owner, he told me it's not his problem. It's the sun in the summer and the cold in winter. I told him my old solid wood doors never decomposed like this and it made no sense. Bottom line Bourassa doors look great in the showroom, however are worthless outdoors. I would definitely NOT recommend this company.

They sold me a ""brand new garage door"" with the receipt
Its all scratched and broken and dont want to do anything about it the owner told me he dont care because i already paid for the door.

Very bad service. Bought a door. Went with the receipt. He denied it is the door that he gave me. He said i flipped the door. He thinks he can hustle and steal money from people. Do not ever buy from him. I am opening a case.

Nice selection of high quality doors but bad service. Called them because the spring on my garage door broke, they said they would call back and never did. This was not my first negative experience with their customer service.
