Tuesday Nov 16th at 4:30. The 1st check in nurse with her hair in a bun, was the rudest person I have ever encountered. She conveniently had her name badge covered with a black jacket.
Took my daughter in to get stitches and politely asked how long so that I could notify my work how long I'd be. Only to get a sour faced attitude. These are people that get paid by our hard earned tax dollars. These are public service jobs. If I was her boss she would be out of a job. Big mistake not going to Surrey.
I will never make that mistake again!!!! 2 hours later with my daughter bleeding and not even close to get called in from the waiting room. Time to leave and go to Surrey.
What a complete disgrace!!!! They need to clean house in the emergency department!

Doctor Wu has to be the worst doctor ever. DO NOT GO TO HIM. Not only was I already in extreme pain, but he had the nerve to roll his eyes as I cried in pain from getting a needle in my spine. What a joke. Masochist.

Went to see a friend of mine who had had a stroke. I was quite concerned and hurried to the hospital to see how he was. The machine in the parking lot refused my credit card, and since I had no change, I went into the hospital to see if I could acquire some. Couldn't get any change so I went back to my vehicle, phoned my friend at the hospital and his wife informed me that he was stable. Unbeknownst to me, I apparently had a ticket in that short space of time although none was on my windshield. Imagine my surprise when I received notice in the mail that I now owed $80.00 as a parking fine.
For this hospital there should be a minus star rating.

I was surprised when I checked the previous rates to this hospital. They took very good care of us starting on the reception, which was on the emergency. Look, people need to understand that emergencies are often chaotic. I found the staff very professional at the reception.
After that, we went to the maternity and boy oh boy they are good. The nurse, which I cannot recall the name, was so sweet!
Doctors were also great!
In short, I believe hospitals may have good and bad days. And people may have good and bad experiences because of that.
What I saw was a happy staff working on a holiday taking care of dozens of people.
And I thank them for that.

when they took my wife in for ultra sound i went to follow, the nurse said i was to wait for a few mins, i missed part of our first ultra sound because of this nurse my wife told me it was very active at first and i missed it because a nurse thought she could tell me what to doing regards to my family i thought she was just getting her changed, turns out i missed part of it and that cannot be replaced and i will never let anything like that happen again, i did get in there shortly after and seen my beautiful baby but still missed the first part and they cant pay me back for that. also they didn't send out our ultra sound so when we went to our doc appointment the ultra sound wasn't there thanks again to the low level Langley hospital. also they had a big spilled mess of fluids and wouldn't clean it till i told someone they need to clean it up they are a joke. updatesince i complained the Langley hospital wanted vengeance and called the police and social services on me and my pregnant wife because we complained to Fraser health because i told the nurse to f off as she was following/harassing me and my pregnant wife wile we were trying to leave after refusing our rights to have a chaperone in any closed room and refusing us an important ultra sound which i do believe is mal practice. I would stay clear of there especially if your thinking of having a baby there they may just ruin your whole experience although i will be taking this to court as they slandered me to the police and social services saying there is spouse abuse, now my already stressed out wife has to deal with these people because a staff member named tammi in ultra sound made up lies she wouldn't even had a way of knowing as she only met us at the hospital .

If there was an option to give 0 stars that's what I'd rank it since there wasn't one good thing about this place. The most unpleasant ER nurses, slow moving, extremely rude and had no care for any patients. Saw a man who had his hand nearly severed from a pit bull sitting beside me for 5 hours without even being given any sort of pain killer, then sent him to x rays still having no doctor see his hand yet. I highly recommend the drive to Abbotsford rather than ever taking someone to this hospital. I took my mom in at 7pm, saw a triage nurse at 8pm, had her blood taken at 9pm and didn't receive her blood results until 3am where she was diagnosed with pneumonia. This place is an absolute joke of a hospital and is a disgrace to our health care system.

Majority of the front staff you first approach in emergency are soo rude.
One lady today about 4 patients to stop bugging her and go sit down. "You are not going to die" and "you are at the bottom of my list, there are people in more need of attention", those were her exact words.
We waited 7 hours for IV antibiotics. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone in the future. Your better off traveling to White rock or Surrey.

My husband hand never signed do not resuscitate form. Intern not doctor on case. Not enough attention was paid to his heart condition. I almost died as a patient in the Langley Memorial Hospital. My husband did die. Staff scary. The person that moved my husband from emergency to 4 south swore the whole time. It took a day and a half to get him a bed from emergency and no medical monitoring equipment was ever connected to him in 4 south. Nurse said she left his room to get IV and returned 10 min. later and found him gone. (10 min. ? ? ) Would a monitor have alerted the nursing staff of care being needed ? ?

Be prepared to wait 8 hours in emergency (no matter what's wrong with you!) and fight for a place to sit down in the waiting room because they only have one doctor on at night.

Took my mother to the emergency room. Emergency is always hard, there not much you can do. We waited maybe for 1-2 hours she was treated by Dr. Newton, honestly the best service we could ask for he was kind and patient, CT scam confirmed his diagnostic. She was admitted, we were there for 5 days. Well treated, respected, Dr. Shirley was her surgeon, he was very good.

Can't thank them enough.

I would suggest going to peace arch or Surrey memorial unless you are in dire need to have your limb sewn back on. Waited 5 hours with an 11 month old baby.

Also it is filthy.

Absolute neglect and a disgrace that this place exists.

Nurses at check in were ridiculous. They have zero patience or tolerance for anyone in pain. Heartless and careless. They treated me like an inmate when I screamed out in pain just because the eff word happened to pop out.
