House show on November 10, 2018 has been CANCELLED, due to an artist backing out again. I'm sorry guys. Next time we have a show it will happen even if it's just me up there singing Shakira karaoke all night.

Friday April 20th Kinzie House Show will be hosting a night of music and spoken word! This night is sure to fill your appetite for good music and great community.
Doors open at 8PM and there is a $10 cover to support the artists.

Janice Jo Lee
Janice Jo Lee is a Korean-Canadian, folk-soul musician, spoken word poet and theatre artist rooted in Kitchener, on Haldimand Treaty territory. She is passionate about building flourishing communities based in justice and joy through art. Janice is interested in the question: “As a storyteller, what is my responsibility to my ancestors and community?” Readers of the Community Edition voted her Best Performance Artist and Best Local Musician 2017.

AVA WILD
From the skies of Saskatchewan Ava Wild began to collect inspiration and translate her world through music. Dwelling primarily in the genres of folk roots and acoustic pop, her writing style is spiced up with embellishments of jazz and old-country (as being influenced by Tom Waits and Norah Jones). Within her lyrics are original ideas about land, love and life. There are drinking songs without alcohol; fairytales wrapped in leather; and an admiration for humanity. With a honey sweet voice laced in a red shoe attitude, Ava Wild dances with crowns and grasps her audience’s attention with her authentic storytelling

Regina based, fifteen year music veteran Brodie Moniker (PandaCorn, Brain Sauce, Fancy Diamonds), is a truly musical diverse talent with sophisticated songwriting, artistic arrangements, and progressive-pop presentations. Polite, honest and aggressive, Moniker puts his entire being into every song, challenging listeners’ presumed ideas of modern rock, reminiscent of past and present sound masters with Frank Zappa arrangements, Brian Eno production, Nick Drake tone, Jack White blues, Trent Reznor edge and Gordie Johnson style.

We have a great night of musical talent lined up for this show! This night will bring us music from Faith Grace - Music and Amy Rola !
Faith Grace's crystal soprano is like a soothing inner voice set to an elegant aural backdrop with mandolin, keyboards, and accordion. Her music has a soft-rock-pop edge. Her songs are inspired by life — love, sorrow, happiness, hope, courage, despair, and frustration

The Kinzie house show is a top notch house show experience in right here in Kitchener Ontario. I've been blessed with 2 opportunities to perform here and have been treated amazingly by hosts Tyler and Jolyn as well as enjoying an incredibly attentive and warm audience to perform to. I would highly recommend the Kinzie house show to artists and audience members looking for an enjoyable house concert experience.

Fantastic hosts and extremely warm environment. The Kinzie House is gorgeous and inviting. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an intimate and interesting evening in with unique live music experiences. As good as it gets for house shows!
