Kenora Motel is very conveniently located on Huron Church Rd and is close to several fast food restaurants. Our Room (#32) was spacious, clean and had a great wifi connection. The two queen beds were firm and comfortable. We didn't experience any of the issues some other reviewers have listed: no strange smells, no bed bugs, decent furniture, no mold in the bathroom, shower stall was very clean. Yes there are not a ton of amenities, the bath towels were a bit thin (they WERE clean however) and there was no stopper in the sink but these are minor things. One nice improvement would be to install screen doors to the rooms To allow more outside air/circulation without flies, yellow jackets or midges entering the room.
For the price, one can't expect much if any more, and the owners can't do anything about the road noise. I would recommend Kenora for an overnight or even longer stay. Just don't expect The Waldorf!response / report this review -

Under renovation so it's difficult to give a proper review. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are what you pay for. Don't expect more. Out of the back of the motel are those living there in the rooms who clearly have questionable lifestyles if you know what I mean.

I'm not one to write reviews but I couldn't pass up on giving these guys a review. Staff was extremely unfriendly and were trying to rush me out without any information. Upon entering the room it smelt like cigerettes everywhere. I returned to the front desk where I was accused of lying (as they apparently clean rooms daily). In frustration they gave me another room which smelt straight like chemicals. The worker checked the rooms, noticed the smells and rudely states that I could try a third room or receive a refund. So much for "daily cleaning" and "customer service". Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good location: close to highway and simple access to the Ambassador Bridge. Room was large, with the AC, fridge, reasonably sized bathroom, two chairs, a table, and a smallish flat screen TV. The room lacked electrical outlets by the beds, which was quite inconvenient. The AC worked well, but was quite noisy. Similarly, lots of trucks driving by in the street makes it a good idea to bring ear plugs for your stay in the motel.

I have had the pleasure of staying here on three occasions and all have been a great experience. The rooms were clean , the motel itself was in good condition and not noisy at all. Everyone I delt with was amazing from check in to check out.
I will be returning in a week and I definitely will be staying there.response / report this review -

For the price, I think this motel has great value, especially for budget travellers. The rooms were ok, and the customer service was great! Wifi wasn't too bad either and the amenities were plentiful.

Worst experience of my life! Got locked out of my room at 3am and the refused to let me back in my room after an hour of being outside they let me in i paid 70$ to look at poop and blood on the walls and bugs in the sheets i got sick from the mold in the bathroom and when i had went to pack in the morning i was missing a lot of belongings when i brought it up to them they refused to give my deposite back. My advice stay far away from this dirty place the new owners are theifs liars and just plan dirty their blankets still smelt like dog piss
