Love Jelly. Had them for our wedding - 5 stars for preordered donuts. However have stopped in a couple times to pick some up and they aren't as good/fresh in early afternoon even (2:00) - 3.5 stars.

Every year all my daughter wants to bring to school for her birthday to share with friend are these scrumptious doughnuts. Always fresh, always looking like art, always an exciting event.

Minimalist donut shop downtown. Had about 8 flavours to choose from. Reasonably priced and delicious. I really liked the bacon maple donut. There's a small area with seating and little coffee tables to eat in. There's one regular sized table with two chairs.

I would give zero if I could. I ordered a month in advance a dozen donuts and when I arrive to pick them up they said they couldn't do my order (dairy free) but they did one flavour dairy free. So they said they couldn't do it. But they did. They're just idiots. They also said they can't do dairy free but can do vegan. Like really? This is the place that everyone raves about? I've actually never had a worse experience at an eatery in my life. All made worse by them not apologizing once or accepting blame. Amazing donuts but seriously I would burn this place down before going back there and dealing with them. Whoever owns this establishment seriously needs to look at who's representing their company on the front lines. If I could contact the owner directly and talk to her I would. She would be appalled I hope i want to keep going cuz I'm that annoyed but I suppose I have to stop somewhere. Idiots.

Great doughnuts, interesting flavours and selections and always super fresh. A little pricey at almost $3/per, but the boxes of 6/12/16 make attractively presented gifts.

3 bites donuts are good. They are more like 1 bites for me and you don't feel as guilty. I do remember them being softer but it could also be I came close to closing time. Still an awesome place to go if you feel like cheating.

I don’t normally write reviews but I’m feeling EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED with Jelly Modern Doughnuts.
We put in a larger order of 52 doughnuts 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up at noon on Tuesday. When we arrived at noon, it wasn’t ready. The employee started filling the order while we were standing there but couldn’t get it right to save her life. Good thing we brought a list of what everyone in our office requested as we had to check our order 4 times before we kind of (yes, KIND OF) got what we ordered.
It’s a Tuesday, so Whoopie Pie doughnuts are supposed to be available. We pre-ordered 4, we received ZERO.
It’s February, so the doughnut of the month is Nutella. We pre-ordered 4 of those, and received ZERO. I did find out they had the Nutella doughnuts in the morning but sold out of them and didn’t have time to bake more. Shouldn’t orders which are pre-paid and ordered a day ahead of time be filled first, before putting them out for the mass public?!?!
There were 2 sandwich orders (4 sandwiches total). We didn’t receive any originally… informed the employee, and received one of the orders… but there were hairs on the sandwich. So we requested the 2nd order and a new one to replace the ‘hair-y’ sandwich. That took another 15 minutes. Also, all 4 sandwiches were chicken salad, but you’d never know by the scant amount of chicken salad actually on the sandwich.
All in all, we requested a noon pick-up and ended up standing there for 45 minutes while they filled our order.
This is the 2nd time we ordered as a company with Jelly Modern. The 1st time wasn’t the greatest either but we were willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again.
They tried to compensate for not having all the doughnuts we pre-ordered by throwing in a few free doughnuts. But realistically, that doesn’t make up for our overall experience.
The hassle of this trip was definitely NOT WORTH the price we paid, the additional time spent waiting around, and for an incorrect order. We would definitely not recommend large orders or pre-ordering with Jelly Modern!
I personally don't know if I'd even drop in just to pick up a few doughnuts. This experience has definitely turned me off of Jelly Modern completely.response / report this review -
