First and foremost we ordered lattes and the waitress gave us to go cups instead of actually sit in cups, I was really looking forward to the aesthetics. Secondly I wasn’t pleased with the plates of choice reason being it looked the dog dishes, and the food was poorly prepared, the Curry Chicken Apple Fold was Assembled sloppy, I had to personally use my hand to reconstruct the meal. Third, the Egg Nog Cheesecake was delightful at first.. at first.. the cheesecake was decorated with whip cream, drizzled with caramel, and had egg nog poured onto of everything, sounds delicious right! The eggnog actually made the whip cream extremely runny, and once the caramel and whip cream was devoured, the cheesecake left had the consistency of canned dog food, and tasted like it too.

I personally think this location was opened too early, hopefully they step up their game in the future.

Normally I enjoy 214 Jeffrey's downtown, but we've been waiting an hour for my meal and two other tables were served before my table. The waitress had no explaination, and was unapologetic and somewhat rude with her response, "It's coming."

I love this place but it just hasn't been the same the last few times I've visited. Having spent numerous lunches there in the past I've been disappointed to have been there twice lately and had poor servicethe last time I was there this past week we were given menus and never had our order taken after sitting patiently for 25 minutes. Unfortunately we decided to leave as the lunch hour was running out.

Hopefully the new location helps solve this but I won't be back until it opens as t

Really disappointed with today's lunch special- tandoori chicken. The tandoori sauce tastes more like ketchup chips than tandoori. My boyfriend ordered a torta that came out the first time without the steak and the second time with burnt steak. At 15$ for a sandwich and some ruffles we won't be back which is really too bad because from what I've heard this place used to be great :(

The quality has gone down over the years. Unfortunately this location is consistently lacklustre. If you only have an hour long lunch break, give Jeffrey's a miss, as even a salad and sandwich tends to take upwards of forty five minutes to make.

Amazing food located right across the street from my hotel. The atmosphere had a lofty home feel and the service is excellent and friendly. Becareful ordering the large portions of soup, salad and sandwiches because it's Alot of food. I recommend the maple latte and the cheese and herb tea biscuits! I will recommend this to anyone where there is a cafe location.
