Great view (5 star view in fact)! Good beer selection. Good wine prices. Not so great food. Brisket hash was okay, but not enough potato. Polenta fries were the highlight. Cauliflower tacos were not good at all, terrible soggy batter served on stale tortillas.

The restaurant with the best view in Canmore. I'll recommend it to any tourist who wants an overview of our town and mountains. The food is fine, quite pricey but nicely cooked. It's usually crowded and busy, so service is sometimes slow - our soup was cold because our server was delayed. It was replaced quickly and cheerfully, though, when we mentioned it. Not a locals hangout, but definitely great for visitors.

Fancy pub establishment. Exotic menu. Food was above average. Service was good. No fire, snow outside! But it was a nice place to watch some football, and have an abstract pallet of beer with my wife!

Great meal with cheddar cornbread and their "signature" bison, elk & beef meatloaf. It was delicious. Service was prompt and the staff were all very nice and attentive. The views are outstanding!

Beautiful building with great views. Service was wonderful. Unfortunately they ran out of the special which was surf and turf then when I ordered half a chicken it was very dry. It wasn't too late in the evening. The other meals on our table were very good.

Got take out. Had to wait over an HR to prepare food for 6. Food quality was not what I expected. Food was ok but not worth the price or the wait.

Awesome food! Service is good. Patio is nice and relaxed. Prices meh a bit high but not crazy high. If you are in town you need to stop in at the Iron Goat.

Unbelievably poor food. Barely edible. I would expect more from a grade 7 foods class. Feels like food service company ingredients used poorly. Bagged shredded cheese, iceberg lettuce shreds. Their menu reads as though an actual chef developed it and was once in charge. Ribs are tough and required substantial effort to pull away from the bone. Extremely expensive for the quality. Skip this place. So so so unbelievably bad especially as it is priced as a higher end restaurant. $28 ribs made me cry. Service was good. Ambience was nice. Food quality 2/10.

Had a great experience yesterday at the iron goat! Very friendly and attentive staff, unbelievable view from a very large , comfy patio . We shared a coupe appetizers The beef carpaccio and the calamari Both were quite good The calamari was prepared differently than you would normally expect , which was great. Large pieces of calamari and sliced green and red papers, lightly breaded and fried Really good! It seems to be busy all the time, so maybe a reservation would be a good idea. We found the attached parking lot small and full but found another parking area just past the roundabout on the street . Again, the patio was a great experience What better way to enjoy a cold drink and some food !

Fantastic view, great burgers and baby back ribs. Friendly service. Must book on a Friday and Saturday or you may miss out (or just come back the next day like we did)

Nice view if you sit in the restaurant. But no tables free so sat in the lounge with a view blocked by the bench seating. Strange design choice to block the view. Food was okay but considering the prices was a little disappointed. Might go again around 2-3 pm hopping to get a view seat. Sharing a plate of nachos with a glass of beer might be a nice way to take in this location.

Canmore cabs have taken thousands of people to the Iron Goat over the years. Conference groups, Wedding groups, Stag's, Stagette's, Meetings, Public, etc. etc. Picking these groups of people up after their time spent at the iron goat is always a good experience. Talk of the Iron goat's excellent food, excellent service, and great atmosphere is all I listen to and talk about on their trip back to they're hotels. My personal personal liking of the Goat is it setting. Set high up with a direct view facing the Three Sisters mountain's, an incredible view.

My wife made a reservation at the Iron Goat for us on Saturday night. What a beautiful restaurant. If you like wood architecture and great pub food then this is the place for you. The portions are also very large and we left there very full and happy. Although the food did seem a little salty but very tasty. thanks for a great night.
