  Meet our speaker for our breakfast session this Friday, Nathaniel Lipkus.

  Nathaniel is a patent and trademark agent and an intellectual property (IP) litigator. His practice focuses on contentious legal issues confronting innovation-intensive industries, with an emphasis on patent and regulatory issues facing pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

  In addition to his role as advocate, Nathaniel provides strategic advice on IP portfolio and risk management, including in the context of IP transactions. He has assisted companies in a variety of innovation-intensive industries by coordinating IP, regulatory and commercial strategies. Nathaniel also has a depth of experience advising on international trade-related IP matters.

  This breakfast session will focus on intellectual property (IP) aspects of agreements between early-stage companies and partners, including universities, employees, and partnerships with other organizations. Participants will learn about common IP issues that arise in technology licensing and collaboration agreements and strategies for protecting core company IP while also getting the deal done.
