Amazing ice cream. It can get pretty crowded in the summer because it's such a local favorite. It's common for people to walk over for dessert after eating at Las Palapas.

I love ice cream and in turn love Homestead. They have a great selection of house made quality ice cream. You can also dip any cone, including hard ice cream, in a chocolate dip to add even more delicious flavour to your ice cream cone.

1000000000% overrated, I don't get why so many people gather there like flies knowing that it's ridiculously overpriced and there isn't much selection of flavors. Went to try once to get myself an opinion, didn't come back.
Not to mention some did taste pretty artificial and they didn't even have the classic flavors or soft ice creams..

OH MY! SOO GOOD. First time i went there I fell in love and now I seem to constantly daydream about my next visit. Being they have all these unusual and novel flavors you can't get anywhere else is awwwwesome. But its also the old-fashioned, homemade vibe being part of the attraction. And I have NEVER seen a two flavor cone like the ones they have, it's like a siamese cone! LOVE IT. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger portion for the value, but obviously higher costs go with providing all these different flavors so I guess I understand the $3/single scoop. Also, some renovations inside and better lighting might do wonders for the shop! Hopefully next time I stop in, they'll have the Dill Pickle flavor :)

The only place in (down)town to have a tasty, and somehow out of ordinary ice cream. It seems like everyone rushes there to get their fix of a generous and delicious gourmet for the day. You'll get hooked for sure, I am already. They may review their seating plan, though.

Line ups are a bit long but worth the wait. I love the half cookie and half brownie ice cream sandwich. Plus you can grab them and head to the till to skip the line!

Hands down one of the best places to get ice cream especially their soft serve. My favourite is the birthday dipped cone with soft serve. It is theee best! Now that I am gluten free they even make it in a cup for me :D such an awesome little spot.

First "kids" ice cream parlor where they don't allow strollers. Really-no infant strollers allowed, no high chairs. Ice cream was quite good though.

Fast, friendly service of ice cream made from real cream and fresh ingredients. The lines can be long but they move quickly and it's always worth the wait.

It's the best place for ice cream in Saskatoon - nothing more needs to be said 😝

Okay if you must know more, this place is more than just ice cream. It's all about the atmosphere. It's a perfect little old school ice cream parlor in the midst of a quintessential Saskatoon neighbourhood. The staff all wear traditional red and white pin stripe shirts. The classic jukebox plays only the best oldies. Then there's the ice cream: amazing flavours that are constantly changing, there are floats, sundaes, banana splits, dip cones, waffle cones, milk shakes, parfaits - anything you can imagine. Now what are you waiting for - go get some ice cream!
