We just finished a roast from Hirsche Fraser. It was excellent. The meat was so tender that we were almost able to cut it with a fork. I would strongly recommend them.

I always come here for my Prime Rib roasts and always enjoy them. Can be prone to cranky service depending on who's at the counter, but when I really want a good roast I tough it out!

Incompetent, and overpriced.
All of their displayed stock is priced 20-30% higher than every other place in town. Same product.
I went there to get a custom cut of pork riblets, was quoted as $2.70 per pound, minimum 10 lbs.
What I got was pork shoulders with virtually no meat - all fat and bone, and the price jacked to over $42 total. I explained exactly what I wanted, and was rudely told off by someone "who has been cutting meat for 50 years."
They screw up your order, jack the price and the become rude instead of admitting to their mistake. Avoid this place if you know what's good for you.response / report this review
