Had many things from here and none of them are good. Everything is so dry or flavourless sad really for a bakery. Time for a rethink

Better coffee than across the street and the food is actually food! Best shortbread I've ever had, and the cheese bread --oh that cheese bread! Worth the short walk off of "the strip" to experience a truly local, family, business!

Best scottish shortbread. Haggis is lovely and well seasoned. Meat pies are excellent. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

Not as good as it use to be when Jimmy and his wife owned it. The irish couple who bought it is now cutting corners. Will not be returning.

I had the steak and mushroom meat pie it was very good and the pastry was light and flaky

Popped in to check it out, wife picked up a steak pie and some scones, fair priced, good service. Unfortunately scones crumbled by the time we got to them and the steak was a little tough in the pie, not what we were expecting.

Traditional shortbreads, and a whole host of other bakery treats from the Scottish repertoire. Good quality, fair price, friendly owners with a long history of fine service. Eat in or take out. Savoury pastries as well as sweet.
