Have been coming to Glow Day Spa for my monthly pedicures since March. Love the welcoming, soothing atmosphere and the friendly staff. Melanie is amazing. She is very gentle and always has a smile and makes you feel special. Look forward to my monthly visits.

Kendra has done by lashes twice now and she is amazing! Extremely professional and knowledgeable about the products she is using! She did a fantastic job and pays close attention to detail and what the customer is looking for! I would highly recommend her to absolutely anyone!

A year ago I got my eyebrows permanent makeup-ed by Kimberly. I absolutely love them and still get compliments on them in the public. Kimberly made me feel comfortable and took the time to find the right shape for my face. I absolutely recommend permanent makeup for anyone thinking about it. It is SO worth it!

I've had my lashes done at Glow Day Spa several times by Natalie. She does a fabulous job every time! I was worried that it would hurt my natural lashes but actually my lashes have grown in more lush because I don't have to remove mascara every night!
My wedding was this past Saturday & when I went to have my makeup done in the morning the makeup artist actually asked me if they were real! No better compliment than that really!response / report this review -

I came to this spa some time last year to have my lashes done for the first time ever. I actually loved the look and length of my lashes after leaving my first visit, but as days went by I noticed huge chunks of lashes missing and I was under the impression they were to last 2-3 weeks. I spoke with a friend of mine who does her lashes regularly and she stated that the spa probably doesn't use individual lashes. I called the spa and the receptionist confirmed that they do, so I booked back for a fill thinking I just wasn't caring for my lashes correctly. This was not the case, the same thing happened just days after my fill. It looked so bad I used coconut oil and took them off myself at home. I later discovered the glow does not use inidividual lashes they use what is a called a "fan" at least 4-5 lashes glued together and then applied to yours, which is more damaging to your natural lashes as they are much to heavy for a single lash to carry and clearly look awful as they fall out on their own as you will have noticeable chunks of lashes missing.
If you're looking for lashes for a weekend or special event glow is definitely the place for you! As I said, they do look great at first, there is just no longevity to them.
I am leaving this review now as I have recently found a very informative lash tech who shows you everything she uses, explains everything in detail etc. and her lashes have lasted me ages before requiring fills. Had I not have found her I wouldn't have known better. Best to do your research/ask questions before booking!response / report this review -

This was my first spa experience and definitely won't be the last! I had an amazing with all my services! Natalie was very professional and made me feel comfortable! I had the relaxation package that included the massage, facial, and shellac manicure and pedicure. I left the spa literally glowing! I will definitely be back thank you for such an awesome experience!highly recommend!!!

I have been going to Glow for the past 7 years and I can honestly say it is by far the best Spa in Barrie. Attention to detail, caliber of service and warm inviting ambiance is second to noneand why I visit them every 2-3 weeks. I recommend Glow to literally everyone I know and everyone who compliments me on my nails. I always feel like I'm coming home when I go to Glowthey are absolutely like family. If you are looking for THE best spa experience in Barrie, Glow Day Spa is your place!

I always look forward to any treatment I am getting at glow day spa. I have been for eye lash extensions, massage, pedicure, and manicure over the last 5 years and have never had a bad experience. Definitely recommended.

I visited Glow Day Spa a few months ago for a pedicure with Kendra, and I have to say it was a very relaxing and wonderful experience. I have been to many other spas in Barrie, but the atmosphere and staff at Glow Day Spa were very professional and wonderful and I highly recommend you book with Kendra for your next manicure and/or pedicure. She will take good care of you and she can also spice up your nails with some great nail art too. 😊

Great ambiance, was unhappy with my service. For anyone who is going to receive a treatment for the first time make sure you do your research and know exactly what you want- DO NOT rely on them to recommend the service you are looking for. I went in to eyelash extensions- my first time ever getting them. I booked for baby doll extensions because I read they were the fullest style. When I got to my appointment I explained to the girl I wanted a very full lash but didn't want too much length. When I asked her what she recommended she talked me into a different style. Ended up paying $90 for eyelashes that look like I have just put my every day mascara on- NOT the look I was going for! The place has great ambiance and friendly service, but I don't think I will be going back.

I had the most amazing experience here today and I highly recommend Glow Day Spa to everyone!! This will now be my go to spa place. Amazing atmosphere, quiet and relaxing, very much enjoyable. And the smells!! I recommend the warm neck wrap. It smelled so amazing it almost put me to sleep!! Love this place! Definitely returning very soon

Kim did my permanent make-up - eyebrows and upper/lower liner. She was very knowledgeable, welcoming and kind. She explained the entire process and ensured that my comfort was put first. I also liked the fact that I was shown all of the sterile packaged equipment that would be used for my application. She pays attention to detail and made sure that everything was perfect. I waited the 6 weeks and went back for my touch up - same experience as the first time - fantastic!!!
