I am brand-new to Tecumseh. Since I drive by this establishment every day and they have been in business for 35 years, they were the obvious choice to call to see about converting my gas fireplace from one with traditional log insert to a more modern crystal/glass look. I had research this online and it appears that it's a fairly simple process. The individual who answered the phone who appeared to be an older gentleman with an accent, was rude, dismissive, and was not interested in helping me. I have since spoken to two other people in Tecumseh, and they have both said that they have had terrible experiences with them as well. They also cited rude, arrogant behavior. So I must ask myself, how does this establishment stay in business? It won't be from my recommendation or my patronage.

Had a service technician come to repair fireplace. He fixed it properly and did not try to rip me off by saying I needed something when I didn't. I had someone else come from another company and they told me I needed a new fireplace. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Think about the pricing. Think about overpriced service. Experience the narrow minded staff. we pay while they take the money and laugh all the way to the bank. My remote is worth 20 dollars - paid 200. 10 years ago they cut down a chimney to the stove???? Why????, well it now sometimes downdrafts to bring Co2 back into house. Thank you Forest Glade for your cheap cap on chimney and where did the nice original one go? Save money, time and maybe a life. Go anywhere else!!!

My wife and I give Forest Glade Fireplaces a 5 star for their sales and services, and we recommend them to all who are looking for a fireplace , and, or a barbecue. We went with natural gas hook up, which we find very easy to use and much more convenient too. thanks again, we are very happy! Tom and Judy Ferri
