Absolutely love this park! Beautiful trails, boardwalks and little look outs. Great views of birds in the pond. Great place for pictures even in the winter months.
Wonderful mostly quiet walk in a nature area. Growth around the pond is mostly overgrown so views are obscured but otherwise a wonderful park
Great little park for picnics or outings. Lots of ducks, geese, and squirrels. You may even see a muskrat once in a while.
Great walking trail for a walk with young kids. New, large playground suitable for kids 5+. Great covered picnic area by the water for larger family, community, or corporate events. Recommend visiting, especially if you're a local.
Bring everyone or just come solo. A refreshing greenspace to circumnavigate walking or biking.
This has got to be one of the nicest city parks in the world. This park involves a path that goes around a small lake or some kind of waterway, and is part of Canada's Discovery Trail. The views are outstanding. There are beautiful structures, a variety of flora, wild geese, squirrels and rabbits to see along the path. It's very peaceful. The City of Abbotsford does a great job of maintaining this park, keeping paths clear for cycling and walking.
Stumbled across this park quite by chance, after taking a wrong turn. Such gem, we stayed a whole hour and half. The walk around thia small lake is easy and very picturesque with very good pathways, bridges and jetty. It has excellent picnic facilities and the cleanest public washrooms we have seen on our visit to BC from Australia. Hwy 1 is not far away we found out! So stopping off here is easybut use your GPS of a good map.
Scenic walk along the lake. The area has good trail system which connects to many parks in the area for extra long walks. Good for all fitness levels.
It's a nice place to walk or jog around. depending on the season there will be a lot of baby ducks walking around that are really cute.
Nice local park with lakes, ducks and interesting walks.
Nice for a short stroll. Pick up garbage if you ever see any please.
One of my favorite places to take my daughter for a morning walk. Very stroller accessible, I don't even need my jogging stroller for this trail.
The abundance of trees on either side of the tail helps keep the trail shaded.
We always run into the nicest people who stop and chat for a minute or a friendly smile and wave.
Lots of small animals that are not that afraid of humans and easy to take pictures of.
Just love all the well maintained paths. Such an easy way to walk a mile or two away from all the city noise. I have been lucky enough to see a deer, rabbits, skunk, geese, ducks, heron. Happy walking every body!!!!! 😆
