I went to F as in Frank looking for vintage military stock and I was not disappointed. They have a variety of shirts and light jackets from both Canadian and US military, and a few from the German army. I was hoping there would be the same selection of pants, but what's available is Frank's in-house cut-and-sew label made from old scraps of vintage fabrics.

The curation of products is top notch. The majority of their stock is from the 80s and 90s, but a few pieces are older. You'll find lots of Made in USA Levi's, Lee, and the occasional Ralph Lauren, and Canadian-made GWG denim. I'm also a fan of well washed and worn-in sweatshirts, which are abundant but not in my size.

There is a section in the back called the "Rag Machine" where garments are untagged, unwashed, derelict, and sold by the weight (lbs)—I do not recommend; the goods are out front.

Anyone looking to incorporate retro and vintage pieces should consider F as in Frank. I don't visit nearly as much as I'd like.

Pricey as a discount price of urban outfitters' stuff but this one has more variety, vibes and colors on clothes.

On the pricey side for vintage clothing, but good selection of on trend pieces

Pretty expensive for basically the same clothes you can get at Value Village. $18 for an old trucker hat. Some funky old things though if you're into that kind of stuff.
