I got my license with Mike's confidence and help. I was scared at first but he was very encouraging and taught me some great tips to focus on the road. Very good and kind instructor. He works with your flexibility and schedule. I would definitely recommend this driving school.

Very appreciative of my instructor Mike who was more like a friend than a teacher. He had a lot of faith and confidence in me which really helped boost my spirits though I was nervous. I had issues with switching lanes prior to taking classes and he really helped me gain confidence in that situation and during my test, I was most confident in my lane switches because of him. He was very accommodating and friendly! Throughout the lesson he wouldn’t make you feel nervous or yell at you or make you feel stupid for small mistakes, he was very calm, cool and collected which really helped me improve. I don’t work well under pressure which is precisely why I wanted an instructor who would not get frustrated easily. Mike was very easy to work with and because of him, I could complete each lesson smoothly. I definitely recommend meeting with him for your lesson if you’re someone like me who doesn’t like to be yelled at. Mike was also able to complete the impossible for me and get me an appointment during the busiest time of the year. My license was set to expire this upcoming January so I really needed an appointment as soon as possible and although it was difficult and everywhere close was booked, Mike worked hard to find me an appointment because he knew of my situation. It was honestly a miracle and I’m thankful for his efforts because without him, I wouldn’t have been able to do the test at all. This is one of the reasons I considered him more of a friend than an instructor because he worked hard to accommodate to your needs no matter how challenging. He’d make quirky jokes during our travels too which was nice and made me smile. He’s definitely a great instructor! Just make sure you double check/clarify your appointments with him to be sure that he’s coming because sometimes those times change or he may forget but it’s super easy to double check with him! Just call him and he’ll answer quickly. Another important note is to make sure you research what is expected of you on the test you’re preparing for and to tell Mike that you want to focus on it so you can learn it as soon as possible. For ex, if you struggle with parallel parking or saw parallel parking is a requirement of your test, ask him to practice it as soon as you get into the car. It’s good to self-assess and know what you want to do prior. I passed my test on my first try! Though my testing instructor (not Mike) for the test had a tendency to get frustrated with me or he’d give unclear instructions which made me mess up a few times because I was nervous. Nonetheless, I did pass on my first try so the lessons were a success!

Choosing mike at drive smart was a smart choice to make of mine. I had very great experience with him as driving instructor. After I finish his driving school I was able to pass the g2 test on my FIRST TRY! I had multiple driving instructors, they come close when it comes to Mike’s teaching skills. He’s a very professional instructor.

I had a great experience with Mike, I was very nervous about driving but he helped me feel confident in my driving skills. I learned how to be more aware and to drive with confidence! I passed my G2 and am very glad that I chose Drive Smart for my experience. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for driving lessons for G2 or G. Thanks again!

I had a pleasant experience learning with Mike, he thought me the basic lessons of driving on the road within a few days. The later lessons I mentioned what parts of driving/parking I felt uncomfortable on and he was able to direct me through the steps and ensure I was performing well each time. Overall I felt the driving classes were great and it was a pleasure talking to Mike as well. I owe them my thanks for passing my g2 test on the first try!
