Beautiful City, named after her namesake, an oceans away. City Council needs to be promoting the heck out of this city, way to much land, commercial land with buildings are sitting vacant, not very good considering we sit here on one of the busiest corridors that bring traffic up into Ontario from either Detroit or Sarnia, or down through the highways from as far east as Montreal, all this traffic, and no real paying jobs. Just survival type positions that cater to the hospitality industry are the main players, they hire and their turn around is phenomenal. If you can't make that Big Mac in under 15 seconds during the lunch hour rush, your probably not going to have your job for all to much longer. Survival jobs are just the that, out there paying liw wages to decent people who deserve more of a slice of the pie that these Corporations make on a daily basis. It is all good if you are in school and want flexible hours, 4 hours here, 8 hours on a week-end, ECT.

Costs more to park here for a lunch than it does to park for a Jays game downtown Toronto. Get IMPark out of this city.

Unfortunately I can't say good things about my city's downtown. Lots of old abandoned like buildings and the people that are regular "clients" at the Methadone clinic close by don't help. Not a nice place to walk with your family on week-ends, especially late in the evening

Dirty, crowded and down right scary. The downtown is covered in garbage and homeless people.

A decent amount of character for small yet large city. Lots of different shops, restaurants, bars, and venues that almost always have something going on.

London downtown is growing well. Richmond row feels solid, the park is clean and carries lots of events. Many things within walking distance.

There's so much to do here, and such a wide range of shops and events. Victoria Park is jumping in the summertime with all kinds of 'fests!

If you want to explore, have a cup of coffee, or just relax, downtown London is the place. It has room for improvement but it's just a great place to hang out.
