Wearing glasses for many many years and by virtue of it dealt with countless optometrists and feel extremely happy I found these guys. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Try going to some of the big name chains in town and if you pay close attention you can quickly realize that what they are telling to you is part of a well rehearsed script with only one goal - to sell you the greatest and latest stuff which accidentally is the most expensive thing being offered and which in addition you may have quite trouble with and not the best vision. Not the case here. They do care how you will eventually feel when you leave the store and will carefully go with all the options with you in technical terms considering also your own past experience before you make a decision what to go with. Thank you ladies at Diamond Optical.

Don't Shop Here! Go to Lens Crafters & get your glasses in an hour!!! I have always bought my glasses at Lens Crafters, but we thought we'd try Diamond Optical, because we live in Chaparral and wanted to support a local businesswe will never make that mistake again!! When we first ordered my son's glasses, it took over 2 weeks to get them! STRIKE ONE! After about 3 weeks, he broke them wrestling with his brother--as boys are wont to do--so we brought them back to Diamond Optical. Their policy on children's glasses is 1 free replacement, so we asked to have them replaced. They agreed and told us they would give us a call when they were inthree weeks went by with no call, so we returned to the store only to find out that they were never ordered! STRIKE TWO! So they re-ordered them and said they would be ready the day after Labour Day (about a week later). Well, they were closed the day after Labour Day and, guess what, the glasses still weren't ready the next day! STRIKE THREE, YOU'RE OUT!!!

Great people, very helpful, got my prescribed sunglasses within a week. Thanks girls.. Diamond Optical in Chaparral is the best!!!

Terrible service.
Perhaps Diamond Optical should take the care to educate their staff. I was told by Diamond Optical staff that I wouldn't be able to get any warranty on my Maui Jim sunglasses purchased at Diamond Optical in Chaparral. The lady was argumentative and rude, providing no help what so ever!
I called Maui Jim, printed a quick form and within a week had my lenses replaced free of charge! Talk about excellent customer care! Thank you Maui Jim!!!
Oh but then again……I guess it's hard for Diamond Optical to help with any warranty work with Maui Jim when they don't keep their accounts paid and have been cut off by Maui Jim.
Time to get a someone who knows how to run a business Diamond Optical. You should be ashamed!response / report this review
