  Three weeks ago I had some bone grafting done by Dr. Angela Demeter and it was a very professional, and comfortable, experience. Dr. Demeter explained everything to me clearly and was patient and helpful with my questions. She froze my gums up really well, and she is very good at giving pain-free injections! The surgery took about 1.5 hours and I was kept comfortable and reassured throughout. I received great after care instructions from her assistant, as well as prescriptions for an antibiotic and painkiller if needed. I found that Ibuprofen was sufficient and it kept swelling to a minimum. And I had absolutely no bruising from the procedure! Dr. Demeter provided her personal cell phone number should I have needed to call her, and her assistant contacted me a couple days after the procedure to make sure I was doing well and to answer any questions. I was back to Dr. Demeter yesterday and she removed the stitches and did a post-op exam. My gums have healed up nicely and everything is looking good! I feel confident that the next steps of the procedure will go well under the excellent care and expertise provided at South Calgary Perio. The office's treatment coordinator has been very helpful in scheduling my needed appointments for the next steps and in coordinating with other professionals that I will need to see. This is greatly appreciated as I fly in from northern Alberta for these appointments and the office has been considerate of my scheduling needs and helped me to book well in advance, and has been patient when I have needed to switch appointment days and times around to accommodate flights. I am grateful for all their caring and compassionate staff, and for the skilled professionalism I receive at South Calgary Perio. Thank you so much.

  I was referred for gum surgery and had gum grafts done on all four sections of my mouth. Dr. Angela Demeter did a fantastic job during my surgeries and my recovery was speedy and relatively pain free. The staff from start to finish were helpful and made sure to assist me when I had questions. My benefit provider had some billing issues and the staff took care of this for me and spoke directly to my benefit provider to make sure everything was resolved. I can't say enough positive about my experience and I recommend Dr. Demeter and her staff to anyone who asks.
