Sickening conditions. Horrible place, they literally do not care about animals at all. Should be shut down. I will be contacting someone about these conditions because it is abuse and neglect. Very sad.

Family owned and these guys care . See for yourself A/c room for the animals. Tempature controlled room for the birds hamster guinea pigs and bunnies. The store is awesome.

Unclean, poorly kept and maintained. Ask for free animals online or cages and then sell them. Staff are rude and poorly educated in the fields of the animals they are selling and caring for. Will not return.

This place was absolutely disgusting. Me and my 3 year old daughter just started an aquarium (she has been really into it). Every tank was exceptionally dirty. Each had at least 1 dead fish. When I asked the associate if they had ghost shrimp (because my daughter really really wants one) he first ignored me, then he laughed and snapped at me for asking - it was like it was offensive to him. The entire store is disgusting. Will never go there again!

Generally, this pet shop is unorganized, and messy inside. The shop owner is a nice guy, but half the store is kept as junk storage. I feel like with the right management and a lot of cleanup, this store could be so much more than it is.

Great co-op experience, and I have seen no problems at their store. I love how it is a mom and pop shop. Would definitely be coming back on my own accord.

Absolutely disgusting , I would have given a 0 if I could. I think the only people giving good reviews are the people that work there and/or their relatives. I don't know how they stay open. It's cruelty to animals. It should be punishable by lawI went in to get some hermit crabs and all of the cages were atrocious , dirty, dirty, dirty they had flies in them (which kills hermit crabs), at one point the man was wiping out tons of cob webs, I couldn't even really see through the glasssame thing with the fish tanks and told me they just sold the last ones a few days prior . I wouldn't have bought one even if they had some (good chance the ones they had were sick)and the whole store wreakedI'll stick with pet smart thank u very muchI was trying to support a family run business, but it's only supporting greed, because it's pain stakingly obvious that they're only in it for the money I'll never go back!..p.s. if you're looking for a CLEAN ,well run pet store with variety, there's a place on Tecumseh rd east in the town of tecumseh (can't remember the name), but they have a great selection and it always smells good..also one time when I went in they had a baby tiger (they were taking care of it for a zoo)
